Tottenham star Harry Kane is a summer transfer target for both Manchester United and Manchester City.
Tottenham insiders think Harry Kane would prefer a move to Manchester United over Manchester City, according to reports. The England international could be on the move this summer having grown frustrated at Spurs under Jose Mourinho, who only replaced Mauricio Pochettino back in October and has struggled to turn things around since.
Tottenham have endured a rocky campaign under both Pochettino and Mourinho, winning just 11 of their 29 Premier League matches.
And their difficult season has led to talk that Kane could be on the move come the summer, with the England international growing increasingly frustrated with life in north London.
Kane still hasn’t won a trophy in his professional career and may leave Tottenham in order to fulfil his ambitions elsewhere.
Manchester United would love to sign the 26-year-old amid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s determination to sign a ‘high-profile’ striker this summer.
And so too would Manchester City, who have started searching for Sergio Aguero replacements.
And Tribal Football say that Tottenham insiders believe Kane favours a move to United over Pep Guardiola’s side.

It’s claimed that he’s ‘warming to’ the prospect of moving to Old Trafford come the end of the season.
And that will no doubt boost United, who would love to make Kane their latest big-money signing under Solskjaer.
The Red Devils currently have Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Odion Ighalo and Marcus Rashford as their striking options.
But, in Kane, they’d be signing a forward with the goalscoring pedigree that hasn’t been seen at the club for some time.
Any deal may be tricky to broker, though.
And that’s because Tottenham chief Daniel Levy has a strained relationship with United, dating back to when Sir Alex Ferguson ruled the Old Trafford roost.

United signed Dimitar Berbatov from Spurs in 2008, angering Levy in the process due to the fact he’d agreed a higher fee for the Bulgarian with Manchester City.
And Tottenham have refused to sell a single player to the Red Devils in the time since.
United tried to sign Luka Modric in 2012 but Levy chose to flog the Croatia international to Real Madrid instead.
A year later, Spurs also sold Gareth Bale to the La Liga giants.
And Tottenham have also refused to let the likes of Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld make the move to the north in the last couple of years.
Meanwhile, former Liverpool star Danny Murphy has endorsed the signing of Kane for United.
And he’s also urged the Red Devils to go after Declan Rice and Jadon Sancho, saying: “It’s going to be a crucial summer for Manchester United.
“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has impressed me in the manner he’s steadied a rocky ship, now the club need to take a forward step to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City.
“That doesn’t mean a radical overhaul because they already have good players at Old Trafford.
“Three top-quality signings in key positions could make all the difference moving them to the next level.
“Imagine if Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho and Declan Rice were at United? They’d be in good shape to compete for any trophy.
“I understand those three, even if they were desperate to join United, would cost at least £260m.”
