This is a little-known tactic I employ as a private investigator to assist wives in exposing unfaithful spouses

The ‘wildest manner’ a private investigator discovered a man using an Alexa device to cheat on his wife has been disclosed.

In Australia, Cassie Crofts operates a licensed private investigation firm called Venus Investigations. She is compensated for her services on instances involving unfaithful spouses, including background checks and stakeout monitoring.

The PI, who divides her time between Queensland and New South Wales, claimed that when she was away on business travels, she started working with a disgruntled woman who started to suspect her husband of being unfaithful.

According to Cassie, the woman was “pretty savvy” because she was aware of all the warning flags to watch out for, such as checking their joint bank accounts for any strange spending and unexpectedly returning home to try to catch her husband in the act.

The PI clarified, “So we’re going down the list of things that we might be able to do before going into full surveillance.”

However, the private investigator asked the woman if they had an Alexa device because it had a hidden feature that could aid identify infidelity after discovering no evidence that her husband was secretly having an affair.

I said, “Do you have an Alexa device.” They do. They both make use of it. I said, “Did you know that you can download Alexa’s voice history?”Cassie made a point.

After reviewing their past, the wife was shocked to hear the voice of an unfamiliar woman in the background.

Cassie Crofts, a private investigator, disclosed the “most wildest way” she discovered a man using an Alexa device to cheat on his wife: “This poor woman checks the days that she was away on a work trip.”

And while a female giggles in the background, she hears her partner repeatedly asking Alexa for stuff throughout the night.

“We caught the cheater in the most outrageous way… More and more cheaters are being exposed by technology these days.”

Alexa is a voice-activated AI assistant that can set alarms, stream music, manage schedules, control smart home appliances, and respond to enquiries.

However, a feature that many people are unaware of is its voice history, which enables users to examine, listen to, or remove recordings from a certain date using the app.

Over 49,000 people have watched her video, and one lady commented, “I had that exact thing happen.”

I caught my spouse by checking my reward account at the grocery shop. Another said, “I looked at it and my husband was shopping at a store far from our house for things we don’t buy and flowers.”

“Sadly, people cheat.” “Just be truthful,” urged one.

When the wife looked through their Alexa’s history, she was shocked to hear another woman’s voice laughing in the background while she was travelling for work (stock image).

Cassie previously shared how she used Flybuys to find out that an unfaithful man was having a covert affair.

The man’s wife became suspicious of his frequent travels, which he said were to see his “family,” so she was recruited to find out the truth.

The couple lived in Queensland, but when she noticed that her husband was frequently visiting New South Wales—a claim she later found to be false—she realised something wasn’t quite right.

His sporadic visits to Coles and Bunnings were the only thing she saw in their joint bank account, but she had no other proof that he was unfaithful.

But when the woman started looking through their Flybuys transaction history and discovered where her husband had been all along, the penny dropped.

Every purchase revealed the precise suburb in which he had been shopping.

“This case was wild,” Cassie said in her video, captioning it with the words, “$10 off your shop, but a very expensive divorce.” It found out that the husband’s ex-girlfriend resided in the same suburb.

The PI described how she was assisting her client, the wife, in determining whether or not her husband was unfaithful.

Cassie clarified, “We were pretty sure he was doing it.”

Cassie previously described how, after his wife became suspicious of his frequent travels, she used Flybuys to find out that an unfaithful guy was having a covert affair.

“They lived in Queensland and he was going on these trips to see his “family in NSW” pretty regularly, which he never used to do,” she continued. She then looked into their combined bank account and found items like Coles and Bunnings, but we had no idea where that was going. It didn’t really help us because we didn’t know who was there.

Cassie advised the woman to look for any hints in their joint rewards accounts. “Have you got any joint rewards accounts like Everyday Rewards or Flybuys, that kind of thing?” she said. “And they had Flybuys,” she explained. “So we opened the app, and right there were all the transactions—Coles, Kmart, Bunnings—showing the suburb where he had been shopping. It just so happened that the suburb was in Queensland, where his ex-girlfriend lives.”

They discovered that the husband was actually seeing his ex-girlfriend, who lived in the same state as them, rather than being in New South Wales by examining the minute details in the transaction history.

Cassie remarked, “Bro gave it up for a few extra rewards.”

“Many people find it difficult to trust their instincts without proof even when all the signs are there,” she continued. “A little evidence gives them the push to take action.”

The wife’s concerns were validated by the detail.
