The View hosts are taken from the set live on-air before the US Vice President’s presence, causing television chaos.

CHAOS erupted on The View on Friday after two co-hosts were removed live on-air in a “national security concern” after testing positive for Covid just moments before vice-president Kamala Harris arrived.

In what one network insider described as a “national security crisis,” on-air TV mayhem occurred this week on US chat show The View. Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin were yanked from the set during a live show only minutes before Vice President Kamala Harris was slated to appear in person. Later on the show, it was revealed that the two hosts had hired Covid, which threw the scheduled interview with the vice-president into confusion.

Vice President Harris’ scheduled in-person appearance was postponed, and the interview took held remotely in the show’s final section – lasting only eight minutes.

Ms. Navarro and Ms. Hostin appeared at the opening of the show, but when Joy Behar returned from a break, she observed, “There seems to be something going on here that I’m not 100% aware of.”

Producers then urged the two to leave the set immediately, in a dramatic broadcast moment.

The set was disinfected during an emergency commercial break, as co-host Joy Behar tried to explain the issue to the viewers.

“Sunny and Ana apparently tested positive for Covid,” she stated.

“It doesn’t matter how hard we try, things happen.” They most likely have a game-changing case.

“I am confident they will be fine because they are both vaccinated.”

Ms. Behar admitted that her removal from the airwaves was “going to be a major news item any minute now.”

Ms Harris was whisked away to a room within the network studio to conduct the interview remotely.

“The Secret Service is doing everything to make her feel comfortable,” Ms Behar said.

“Sunny and Ana are strong women, and I know they’re alright,” Ms Harris remarked later in the interview.

“But it also speaks to the fact that they’re vaccinated, and vaccines make all the difference because we’d be worried about hospitalization and worse otherwise.”

“This could have been a near call for the VP,” Dr. Saju Mathew, a medical specialist, told CNN.

“I believe the ball has been dropped.” “How could these anchors have been unaware of their upcoming test?” According to CNN, a White House official claimed Ms Harris did not interact with either of the hosts.

“Brinkwire Summary News,” according to ABC.
