The RT Creative Lab will be on a panel at SXSW 2022, the world’s largest tech, film, and music festival.

RT Creative Lab has made it to the core of the SXSW conference programming, beating out over 3,000 other bids for the 2022 event, which will take place in Texas from March 11 to March 20.

Over 160 seminars will be chosen by top-level speakers from renowned corporations, colleges, and creative industries, including Adobe, Epic Games, Kill Rock Stars, Meow Wolf, Natural Resources Defense Council, Nickelodeon, the Oversight Board, Spotify, Sundance, Unity, and VMware.

The panel at Creative Lab brings together a broad group of artists and producers that work with MR, VR, AR, NFT art, and digital colorizations to discuss how businesses can engage with their customers through unique storytelling. It will be hosted by: and will be held in the Advertising & Brand Experience track. What is the significance of the term “Digital da Vinci’s”? Leonardo da Vinci was one of history’s most famous brand storytellers. The Duke of Milan commissioned his famous ‘Last Supper,’ which represents a famous biblical incident. One detail, though, is yet unknown. Da Vinci represented Jesus and the 12 apostles in “contemporary attire” that the citizens of Milan and the Duke himself would have worn at the time. It was done this way so that people who interacted with the picture would think the biblical characters were important. The same motive that drove da Vinci to tell stories 500 years later is motivating brands to tell stories in the digital world.

With the example of its two projects – #Romanovs100 & #1917LIVE – RT Creative Lab conducted a live panel at SXSW EDU in 2019, discussing how social media and storytelling may motivate a personal passion for studying history.
