For the first time since ending his more than year-long court battle with It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively a few days ago, Justin Baldoni has made public appearances.

On Wednesday, the 42-year-old celebrity looked triumphant as he spent time with his loving 41-year-old wife Emily at a cafe in Nashville, Tennessee.

The couple has been married since 2013 and has two kids together. put up a unified front by holding hands firmly while they were out.

Baldoni and Emily seemed to have moved past the legal drama with Lively, and Baldoni was often seen grinning.

Since Lively came up with her claims of sexual harassment and retribution against her husband in December 2024, Emily has supported him.

The settlement on Monday was unexpected because Lively’s lawsuit was supposed to go to trial on May 18 only a few weeks after a judge last month dismissed its allegations of sexual harassment.

For the first time since ending his more than year-long court battle with It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni has made an appearance in public.

On Wednesday, the 42-year-old celebrity looked triumphant as he spent time with his loving 41-year-old wife Emily at a cafe in Nashville, Tennessee.

Baldoni wore slip-on shoes and slim blue trousers for his first public appearance since the announcement.

His tan fleece jacket and white tank top completed his ensemble, and he wore a baseball cap to hide his dark brown hair.

Wife Emily, who was likewise wearing blue denim and a baseball cap, was dwarfed by Baldoni.

After grabbing a drink to go from the Nashville restaurant, the pair went back to their car to apparently run additional errands throughout the city.

The Baldoni sighting occurs two days after Lively, just hours after making the embarrassing decision to settle her lawsuit, opted to make a spectacular comeback to the Met Gala.

She wore a dress from Atelier Versace’s Spring 2006 line as she walked the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Notably, Lively faced the occasion by herself with her spouse Ryan Reynolds’ encouragement.

The Gossip Girl actress said in a Met Gala interview that she was feeling “shy” and that she could bring Reynolds’s four children along.

Baldoni wore casual slip-on shoes and slim blue trousers for his first public appearance since the announcement.Baldoni and Emily seemed to have moved past the lively court drama, as seen by the numerous photos of Baldoni grinning.

As he and Emily passed through the restaurant’s parking lot, Baldoni grinned broadly.

Baldoni towered above Emily, his wife.

After getting a drink to go from the Nashville restaurant, the pair went back to their car to apparently run additional errands throughout the city.

Since 2013, the couple has been wed.

The couple’s two children were absent from the outing on Wednesday.

During their walk, the two appeared relieved.Baldoni accessorised his ensemble with a tan fleece jacket and a white tank top.

“I’m shy, I just like to have my kids with me,” Lively remarked, exposing her custom-made handbag, which included watercolour paintings by each of her children: James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 3. Emily smiled sweetly behind her husband as he seemed to place an order inside the cafe.

Lively and Baldoni’s production business, Wayfarer Studios, and his PR firm eventually came to an agreement on Monday, May 4, regarding allegations of retribution and contract violation pertaining to their 2024 film, It Ends With Us.

The following day, a joint statement from Lively and Baldoni’s teams disclosed the unexpected litigation settlement.

“We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognise concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard,” they stated, emphasising that It Ends With Us’s objective to raise awareness for survivors of domestic violence remained a “source of pride” to everyone who worked to make it a reality. They continued, “We continue to be steadfastly committed to workplaces devoid of improprieties and unproductive environments.”

Both parties, who have been embroiled in a convoluted legal dispute since December 2024, when Lively originally filed her multimillion-dollar lawsuit, did not issue an apology in the statement.

Rather, the teams of Baldoni and Lively expressed their “sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”

Emily wore a baseball cap and blue pants as well.Baldoni smiled amiably at onlookers.

Both parties, who have been embroiled in a convoluted legal dispute since December 2024 when Lively originally filed her multimillion-dollar lawsuit, did not issue an apology in the statement.

Lively’s lawsuit was supposed to go to trial just weeks later on May 18, thus Monday’s settlement was unexpected.

According to reports, Wayfarer, It Ends With Us Movie LLC, and The Agency Group (TAG PR) are thrilled with how this issue was settled.

The unexpected settlement follows a judge’s shocking dismissal of 10 of Lively’s thirteen claims, including all of the charges of sexual harassment, last month.

Only three counts—retaliation, aiding and abetting retaliation, and breach of an agreement known as the Contract Rider—were included in the trial, which was still scheduled to begin on May 18.

Baldoni was no longer listed as a defendant in the case as a result of the decision.

Rather, Wayfarer was scheduled to stand trial for the alleged “smear campaign” against Lively, along with the business he founded to produce It Ends With Us and TAG PR. It refuted the allegations.

Baldoni and Wayfarer had filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, alleging extortion and defamation. In June of last year, the judge rejected the allegations.

Lively’s lawyers claimed during a pre-trial hearing last week that the actress had lost tens of millions in endorsements in addition to nine-figure declines in her earnings and profits; Wayfarer’s side has rejected these claims as being greatly exaggerated.

Wayfarer’s lawyers said Lively was already a “bully” with a track record of unsuccessful business endeavours and rejected any accountability for her losses.

Amir Kaltgrad, the company’s attorney, further asserted that Lively’s experts’ estimates of her lost income were hypothetical.

He informed the court that the anticipated amounts were “pie in the sky,” with $143 million in lost wages, $132 million in lost profits, and several million more for missed endorsements.

Lively made an unexpected appearance at the Met Gala in New York City just hours after the deal was struck.

In a stunning vintage Atelier Versace dress from the brand’s Spring 2006 collection, Lively stole the show on Monday.

Her team, according to the lawyer, formed a “unrealistic assumption” about how much work Lively would receive in the years after It Ends With Us.

In the eight years preceding the 2024 film’s debut, Kaltgrad pointed out that Lively only made $21 million from four film ventures.

Additionally, he contended that in one instance, Lively’s financial losses were due to her business choices rather than the company.

He asserted that Betty Buzz, her line of non-alcoholic drinks, “did not succeed for nothing to do with the defendants,” citing statements made by her own accountant, Jeffrey Kinrich.

In a prior court filing, Lively herself acknowledged that the business was failing.

Fabien Manohar Thayamballi, another of Wayfarer’s solicitors, refuted Lively’s assertion that remarks made online accusing her of bullying were only the product of digital manipulation.

The lawyer pointed out that Lively had been an aggressor herself, citing her alleged mockery of Kate Middleton in March 2024 after the Princess of Wales shared a family photo that turned out to be digitally changed, making headlines throughout the world.

A troublesome production was depicted in the multimillion-dollar lawsuits, when an A-list star asserted herself over a relatively inexperienced director who allegedly found it difficult to resist her increasing demands.

A number of incidents that Lively claimed amounted to sexual harassment were at the heart of the case: Baldoni allegedly added unscripted sexual moments, one of his friends played a doctor during a birthing scene on an inadequately closed set, and Jamey Heath, the movie’s producer, allegedly barged into her trailer while she was topless. These accusations were dismissed.

Due to the Hollywood writers’ strike, filming was put on hold for a few months after it started in 2023.

However, Baldoni was made to attend a meeting at Lively’s New York home before to the start of production, where he said Reynolds “berated” him for abusing his wife.

The unexpected settlement follows a judge’s shocking dismissal of 10 of Lively’s thirteen claims, including all of the sexual harassment allegations, last month; Baldoni and Lively were spotted on the set of It Ends With Us (2024).

Hugh Jackman and Taylor Swift, Lively’s now-former best friend, were among those in attendance when Reynolds attacked Baldoni for “fat shaming” his wife by enquiring about her weight from her personal trainer.

In order to get the movie back on track, Baldoni eventually signed a 17-point agreement, which he later claimed he signed under duress.

Lively’s relationship with Swift, whom she publicly called one of her “dragons,” and Reynolds was eventually revealed in explosive lawsuit files.

Baldoni claimed that he gave Lively so much power because he was afraid that two such massive superstars would turn against him.

The two did seem to have an unshakeable connection at times. Swift texted Lively on December 21, 2024, stating, “You won,” according to text messages provided as proof. You succeeded.

Then, citing Lively’s lawsuit with the California Civil Rights Department in which she accused Baldoni and others of sexual harassment and a “coordinated effort to destroy her reputation,” she gave the actress a link to a news article about Baldoni being fired by talent agency WME.

“You f***ing helped so many people who won’t have to go through this ever again,” Swift said to Lively.

Swift remarked, “Never has a cancellation been reversed so fast. You guys don’t understand how rare this is,” in regard to the unfavourable press that Lively received during the movie’s promotion. to possess evidence and to take the appropriate actions to reveal that fact.

“Like. My. God,” Lively retorted. “I love you so much” was another message. Without you, I wouldn’t be able to get through any of this.

Lively’s team claimed that a smear campaign after It Ends With Us cost her tens of millions in sponsorship deals. Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios refuted this.

Wayfarer and Baldoni had filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively and Reynolds, alleging extortion and defamation. Last year, the judge rejected these allegations.

On December 4, 2024, just before Swift’s Eras Tour ended, Lively asked Swift if everything was alright. “I felt like a bad friend lately because I was such a sad sack who only talked about my own s*** for months,” Lively said, sensing that something wasn’t quite right.

Lively was “not wrong, but it’s also not a big deal,” Swift retorted.

“Blake’s been ready for this trial, it’s a moment she’s been waiting for a long time, to have her voice heard in this court,” Lively’s attorney Sigrid McCawley said outside of court last week. “She’s feeling really good…she’s finally at a point where she will be able to tell her side.”

The August 2024 release of It Ends With Us, film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling 2016 novel that starts out as a romance but takes a dark turn into domestic violence, exceeded box office forecasts with a $50 million premiere.
