The awakened attorney general of Wisconsin has urged employees to read a book co-authored by a self-described “non-binary mystic and pleasure activist.”
According to the Heartland Post, Attorney General Josh Kaul’s 2023 Equity and Inclusion Plan, which is in force through December, featured the book “Subtle Acts of Exclusion,” co-written by Drs. Tiffany Jana and Michael Baran, in the “Associate Culture Staff” Training program.
It seeks to address “insidious and damaging” behaviours at work, such as preconceived notions and microaggressions.
In the Equity and Inclusion Commitment Letter, Kaul stated that the Wisconsin Department of Justice will now “maintain a monitoring and reporting system to ensure the overall compliance with the equity and inclusion mandates.”
“When the plan was first released, he noted, “We expect every DOJ employee to be an active participant in the implementation of this program and be accountable for complying with the objectives of this Equity and Inclusion Plan.”
It states that the plan “reflects the department’s values and it puts into action our intent to be a better and stronger organization, one that is truly diverse, inclusive and applies principles of equity so all members of the DOJ community can experience a sense of belonging.”
However, the inclusion of Jana’s book has caused controversy when it was discovered that she charges $75 per hour for “tarot/oracle readings” and $600 per hour for “solo time travel sessions.”
“On her website, she states, “My mission is to empower and liberate minds, hearts, and bodies through joy, love, knowledge, and spiritual wisdom.”
Dr. Tiffany Jana describes herself as a “non-binary mystic and pleasure activist.”
In order to combat “insidious and damaging” behaviours in the workplace, such as microaggressions and erroneous assumptions, she co-wrote Subtle Acts of Exclusion.
One X user commented, “Wisconsin, this is where your tax dollars are going… when will you wake up to the mental and moral ineptitude of the EVERS DEI Administration,” referring to Governor Tony Evers. The book was part of the curriculum for “Associate Culture Staff” Training under Attorney General Josh Kaul’s (pictured) 2023 Equity and Inclusion Plan, which is in effect until December.
“Non-binary mystic and pleasure activist”???” the X user replied, expressing their disbelief over Jana’s inclusion in the curriculum. “How can we #SaveWisconsin from these idiots?” They appear to be emerging from the woodwork.
The inclusion of Jana’s book “sounds exactly like something Josh Kaul would do,” according to a third online user.
Kaul, who is seeking reelection in November against the Republican Fond du Lac County district attorney, has been a vocal opponent of the Trump administration’s efforts to undo diversity, equality, and inclusion programs.
Since the start of Trump’s second term, he has joined over 40 lawsuits on behalf of Wisconsin.
According to the MacIver Institute, these include opposing Trump’s executive order that denies birthright citizenship to all children born in the United States, preventing Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood, and limiting Medicare and Medicaid for transgender “interventions” on minors. “It is difficult to know exactly how much Wisconsin taxpayers are spending on these lawsuits against the federal government,” the think tank observes. “The amount of money allotted to individual cases is not specified in Wisconsin’s state budget or DOJ appropriated funds.”
Kaul’s office has been contacted by The Daily Mail for comment.
