Sylvia Jeffreys cuts an elegant figure in an animal-print gown at the Logies

She was forced to attend the Logies alone this year due to her husband Peter Stefanovic’s work commitments.

And Sylvia Jeffreys, 33, dazzled in an animal-print maxi grown by Rebecca Vallance on Sunday.

The A Current Affair reporter cut an elegant figure as she posed in the custom gown, which featured long sleeves and a key-hole design around the chest.

She completed the look with a black belt, which cinched her small waist.

Her luscious blonde locks were straightened and worn loosely and she opted for flawlessly applied evening makeup.

It comes two years after Sylvia was left red-faced when critics likened her Logies outfit to a ‘vagina ‘dress’.

The morning after the 2017 Logies, Sylvia addressed the social media reaction to her dress live on the Today show.

‘I should apologise, apparently a few people are in a flap over it this morning!’ she joked, leaving her co-hosts in fits of laughter.

‘There have been some unflattering comparisons. Nothing controversial intended.’

The former Today show presenter recently told The Daily Telegraph that she’s attending TV’s night of nights without Peter, because he is preparing for his new gig at Sky News which starts on Monday.

‘He’s not coming this year, because he’ll be up at 3am the next morning starting his new role,’ she said.

The 37-year-old will front the network’s flagship program First Edition alongside Laura Jayes.

Former Weekend Today host Peter, who was axed from Channel Nine in December, said he’s ‘excited’ and ‘thrilled’ to join the team.

‘I’m excited. Thrilled about it, actually,’ he said.

‘It’s a great challenge, a wonderful opportunity and a fantastic privilege to be asked to be part of the Sky News team.’

Meanwhile, Sylvia was axed from Today in December and joined A Current Affair.
