SUSANNAH Constantine left jaws on the floor with shock revelation.
Strictly Come Dancing 2018 kicked off tonight with the the new batch of celebs meeting their professional partners.
Second up to meet their match – following newsreader Kate Silverton’s pairing – fashion guru Susannah Constantine took to the floor.
The 56-year-old bravely revealed her battles with self-esteem once she hit her fifties in her opening video on the programme.
And Susannah who was clear to do something “for her” by going on Strictly was delighted to be partnered up with Anton Du Beke, 52.
Clearly thrilled to be paired with one of the show’s longest-reigning professional dancers, Susannah made an hilarious quip.
The married mum-of-three said: “Bring on the Strictly curse now that I’m with Anton”
Clearly Susannah was joking, but many viewers do believe in the “Strictly Curse”.
The “Strictly curse” is a phenomenon that appears to hits some of the celebs when they appear on the show.
From the hectic training schedules, to dancing in close quarters to their professional partners, many of the celebrity stars end up breaking up with their partners or spouses at home.
Rugby ace Ben Cohen, 39, famously got together with Russian blonde bombshell Kristina Rihanoff after splitting with his wife.
Ben and the former Strictly professional, 40, who appeared on the show in 2016, now share a baby daughter.
Countdown presenter Rachel Riley, 32, appeared on the programme in 2013.
Shortly after the show wrapped, Rachel split with millionaire boyfriend, Jamie Gilbert and got together with her Strictly partner Pasha Kovalev, 38.
The pair are still going strong and enjoyed a holiday to the Maldives together over the summer.
Will the alleged “Strictly curse” hit any of the celebs this year?
