Stanley Johnson is furious about plots to assassinate Geronimo the Alpaca. ‘There is no proof!’
STANLEY JOHNSON reacted in rage as he maintained the Government did not need to kill the Alpaca Geronimo.
Boris Johnson’s father, Stanley Johnson, has become one of Helen Macdonald’s most prominent supporters in her struggle to save her Alpaca. The animal must be slaughtered, according to Environment Secretary George Eustice, because it has contracted tuberculosis. Mr Johnson maintained that the Alpaca’s death was unwarranted because Geronimo had tested positive for the condition over four years earlier.
He went on to say that there was no sign the Alpaca still had the sickness, thus it didn’t need to be slaughtered.
