STACEY Solomon was left in tears tonight as she and son Rex welcomed Joe Swash home from a week away.
The mum-of-three pulled out all the stops to create a special date night for her boyfriend, who had been for a holiday in Wales with his eldest son Harry.
Stacey, 30, got emotional as she and Rex opened the door to Joe, capturing the special moment on camera as her littlest “pickle” walked into his dad’s arms.
“Who’s at the door? Who is it? Should we let him in?” Stacey is heard asking Rex as Joe knocks on the front door.
“Who is it?” she asks again as Rex realises it’s his dad and excitedly runs to hug him.
The Loose Women panelist wrote across the first video: “Daddy’s home,” followed by several crying face emojis.
Earlier in the day Stacey told fans that she was planning a special “date night” for her and Joe, 38, to celebrate his return.
She revealed: “None of the big pickles want to come home yet, they’re having too much summer holiday fun with their dads so it’s a date night for me and Joe.”
The crafty star showed off how she was setting the table with a hessian runner, dried flowers, wicker place settings, potpourri and lots of little added touches.
After welcoming her partner of four years home, Stacey later shared several videos of Joe playing with Rex before sitting down for dinner.
“Sorry for the cheese on toast. I can’t help it. Rex is so, so, so, so happy right now. So happy right now. Hope you’re all OK. Hope you have a lovely evening. Love you all to the moon and back,” she told her 3.6 million followers.
After waving Joe off on his camping holiday with eldest son Harry, 13, Stacey admitted she was missing him terribly.
She told her fans she enjoyed her first few nights of “freedom” but was looking forward to him coming home.
The mum-of-four also admitted having a sleepless night, the first night Joe was away.
Admitting that she’d struggled to sleep, the mum-of-three filmed her cup of tea in the garden as she explained: “Joe left a few hours ago and I couldn’t get back to sleep so I made some frozen yogurt cups.
“And now I’m in the garden doing the animal poo run with a cuppa tea and my garden fejka!
“Hope you’re all okay this morning, happy Fri-yay”.
