Sienna, Princess Beatrice’s baby, was given a secret royal title – but it wasn’t bestowed by the Queen.

Sienna, Princess Beatrice’s baby, has a secret title that Her Majesty the Queen hasn’t bestowed upon her.

On September 18, Princess Beatrice, 33, and her husband Edoardo, 38, welcomed their first child, Sienna, into the world.

The royal baby is the Queen’s youngest great-grandchild.

Beatrice used Twitter at the time to announce the name of her new baby girl, Sienna, and to share a photo of Sienna’s tiny footprints.

“We are overjoyed to announce the name Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi for our daughter,” she wrote.

“We’re all doing well, and Sienna’s big brother Wolfie [Edo’s child from a previous relationship] is the best.”

Following the birth of Eugenie’s son August in February, Sienna is the second grandchild of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

The youngster is the eleventh in line to the throne, and one of her middle names is named after her great-grandmother.

Due to a major historical rule, Sienna is not entitled to an official title in the United Kingdom, but that does not mean she lacks one.

The rule in question comes from King George V’s Letters Patent of 1917, which stated that all of the sovereign’s children, male-line grandchildren, and the Prince of Wales’s eldest son were all entitled to a princely title.

As a result, the children of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are not entitled to the titles of Prince or Princess.

Regardless of her ties to the British Royal Family, Princess Beatrice’s daughter is in line for a noble title of her own.

This is due to the fact that Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is an Italian nobleman with the title of count.

“Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation,” Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi told the Daily Mail.

“He is a count, his wife is an automatic countess, and any of their children are counts or nobile donna.”

Beatrice and her husband were spotted last month at Kate, Duchess of Cambridge’s festive carol concert, Royal Carols – Together At Christmas.

Beatrice and Edo pose in front of a Christmas tree at Westminster Abbey, wearing facemasks.

Edo, a real estate developer, wore a tailored suit with a matching tie and pocket square, while his wife wore a camel-colored coat.

Also wearing was Beatrice.
