A 62-year-old Adelaide woman has died in hospital after being held under mental health provisions following the death of her 92-year-old mother.
The older woman was found dead inside a home at Elizabeth North last month.
Her daughter was found unconscious in the house and was treated by paramedics at the scene before being admitted to the Lyell McEwin Hospital.
Police said on Wednesday she had since died without ever regaining consciousness.
No other people are being sought in relation to the two deaths but both will be subject to coronial investigations.
