THE Royal Wedding countdown has well and truly begun, and now all the details are starting to emerge. Where will Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank go on their honeymoon?
The second Royal Wedding of the year promises to be a glitzy affair.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will not only celebrate on Friday, October 12 – but also on Saturday, October 13.
First they will have a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle – the same spot as her cousin, Prince Harry, tied the knot with Meghan Markle in May.
The day after they will celebrate again with a “festival and funfair themed” party.
This will not be the end of the celebrations, as the couple are no doubt planning a memorable honeymoon.
Where will Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank go for their honeymoon?
Princess Eugenie and Jack both love to travel, so their honeymoon destination will no doubt be amazing.
The pair have not yet revealed where they will be heading for their honeymoon.
However, there are a few locations which are more likely than others.
1. Verbier, Switzerland
Jetting back to the place they first met would be incredibly romantic.
The couple first locked eyes at the Swiss ski resort during Prince Andrew’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Because it will likely be a winter honeymoon, the slopes would offer impeccable skiing conditions.
However, the couple may also opt for a spot they have never been before.
Because it will be winter in the UK, the couple may want to head somewhere warmer.
Thailand is a popular choice between November and January due to the temperatures.
Eugenie has already been to the country, but there are many things they could do there as a couple.
The newlyweds could explore temples or relax at luxurious resorts.
Could the couple travel back to the romantic spot where Jack proposed?
Eugenie previously described the moment when Jack went down on one knee in front of a “beautiful volcano”.
She continued: “The lake was so beautiful. The lake had a special light I’d never seen. I actually said ‘this is an incredible moment’, and then he popped the question.”
4. The Amalfi Coast
The couple already visited Italy’s Amalfi coast during a pre-wedding break.
The beautiful spot is an iconic location for honeymoons, and it will give them a good chance to explore further.
However, it could be a bit chilly in the winter.
5. The US/New York
Princess Eugenie used to call New York home for two years.
Eugenie could want to take her new husband to explore her former home.
While she lived in the US she also spent breaks in other states, such as Miami Beach.
There are no doubt plenty of other locations in America she would love to go.
