ROMELU LUKAKU is absent from Manchester United’s squad as they face Perth Glory with the Belgian’s Old Trafford future up in the air.
Lukaku has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford with Inter Milan believed to be keen on the striker.
It’s been claimed United would be willing to sell if they can recoup the £75million they spent on Lukaku in 2017.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has placed Marcus Rashford ahead of Lukaku in the pecking order.
However neither start against Perth Glory today as United begin their pre-season.
Instead, Jesse Lingard, Daniel James and Anthony Martial are in the frontline.
But Rashford is on the bench, while Lukaku is nowhere to be seen in the squad.
Reports suggest Lukaku has just been rested, despite it being the start of pre-season.
The Belgian did arrive with the players despite not being involved in the squad.
The same goes for other absentees Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Lee Grant.
But fans think his absence means the end of his United career for Lukaku.
One wrote: “Bye Lukaku”
While another added: “Good bye to Lukaku”
A third posted: “Has Lukaku ever looked up from the ground after he was linked with Inter? Acting like playing for United earning 200k a week is depressing”
And one other said: “No Lukaku in the squad says a lot. He’s off.“
