Princess Diana, the hero mother, is seen taking part in Prince Harry’s sports day in newly discovered photos.
The legendary moments of PRINCESS DIANA are well-documented.
However, an uncovered photograph shows Prince Harry at a Wetherby School sports day in 1991, which is a lesser-known Royal appearance.
Harry, who was six at the time, competed in a sack race and other events.
The little Prince can be seen jumping to the track’s end, just behind first place.
Diana, a competitive soul, abandoned her shoes and royal custom at the starting line to compete in the Mother’s Race for gold.
Participating in their children’s school’s sports day is a commonplace for many parents, but seeing a Royal do so is quite the shock.
In a 1995 interview, Princess Diana declared, “I don’t follow rules because I lead from the heart, not the intellect.”
Along with the other mothers, the Princess of Wales was photographed sprinting in a long skirt.
She finished second in the race, according to reports.
Diana wasn’t participating in sports day activities with her sons for the first time.
From 1987 to 1989, the late princess competed in the Mother’s Races, crossing the finish line first, according to reports.
She finished third in 1990.
Every year, the Princess was spotted sprinting barefoot in magnificent skirts and smiling with other mothers afterward.
She was also seen in a beautiful photo with young Harry after the festivities.
Before joining Ludgrove School – and later Eton College – William and Harry attended the London school.
