Princess Beatrice’s stepson Wolfie, 4, appears in wedding photo

Princess Beatrice’s new four-year-old stepson is seen for the first time at his father’s wedding in a new photograph that has emerged online.

Christopher, known of Wolfie, whose mother is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s ex-partner Dara Huang, served as page boy and best man to his father at the intimate 20-person service at the Royal Chapel of All Saints, in Windsor.

Smartly dressed in a shirt and trousers, Wolfie is seen leaving the church behind Edo, 36, and beaming Beatrice, 31, although his face is not visible.

The snap, taken by photographer Benjamin Wheeler, was shared on Instagram this week by wedding florist Rob Van Helden Floral Design but later removed.

The company shared the caption: ‘What a week….!!! Thank you SO, SO MUCH for all your most kind messages….

‘SO grateful for the honour and privilege to have been part of the wedding of Her Royal Highness, Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. Wishing them a life filled with love and happiness [sic].’

The post has received almost 1,800 likes, including one from the groom himself, who also shared a prayer hand and heart emoji to communicate his appreciation.

Four official photographs were released by the Royal Family the day after the surprise secret nuptials and a fifth has been shared on Instagram by proud husband Edo.

This is the first to offer a glimpse of Wolfie, who was given an important role at the ceremony and was one of just 20 people who attended the July 17 service.

It is similar to one of the photographs released previously but shows the newlyweds from a different angle. Beatrice wears the 1953 Norman Hartnell dress borrowed from the Queen and the Queen Mary tiara the monarch wore on her own wedding day.

Property developer Edo fell for the Princess after meeting her at the wedding of her sister Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank in October 2018.

At the time he was living with his fiancee Dara Huang, 38, Wolfie’s glamorous architect mother.

Ms Huang remains very much involved in Edo and Beatrice’s life and the three are now firm friends. ‘She and Beatrice get along well,’ a friend has previously said. ‘Beatrice is very kind and sweet to Wolfie.’

Beatrice and Edo are thought to be enjoying a modest honeymoon in France.

The couple were spotted by an eagle-eyed tourist as they drove ‘a small car absolutely packed to the roof with stuff’ in the south of France.

‘It was such a surprise to see them,’ the tourist told the Mail On Sunday. ‘Edo was behind the wheel and they looked just like any other couple enjoying the beautiful drive.’

A source said Beatrice and Edo, 36, had planned to skip a traditional honeymoon, but decided at the last minute to take a trip across the Channel.

‘The wedding was arranged in a couple of weeks, and with lockdown their choice of honeymoon destinations was severely curtailed.

‘They weren’t going to bother but at the last minute they decided to pack up the car and head out. They’re a very down-to-earth couple.’

It is understood that they are planning a trip to Lamu Island, off Kenya, where Edo’s family own a home and where he took Beatrice in the early days of their romance.
