Perth driver is slammed for driving ‘blind’ down bike park next to the Tonkin Highway

A group of hoons that drove a car down a bike path have been slammed for their dangerous stunt.

Video footage showed a car racing down a bike path next to Tonkin Highway near Perth’s airport at night.

‘This is how we party in Forrestfield, where you go and get blind and drive on footpaths,’ one passenger could be heard saying in a video clip provided to Seven News.

‘Perth shortcuts, does anyone know this road?’

The driver is spurred on by his passengers who call his antics ‘f***ing dope’.

He also compared the driver’s actions to a popular race car video game.

One resident described the actions of group as ‘anarchy’.

Bollards normally block access to the footpath but they were out of action at the time of the incident.

They have been reinstalled since.

A Western Australia Police spokesman said police are investigating the matter.
