More than a month after boyfriend Tiger Woods’s most recent shocking DUI arrest, Vanessa Trump made a rare public appearance on Sunday.
On Sunday afternoon, Vanessa, 48, went to the PGA Tour’s Cadillac Championship final round with her former father-in-law, President Donald Trump.
The president’s Trump National Doral hosted the Tour’s marquee tournament, which features a $20 million prize pool. This was the PGA Tour’s first visit to the Miami course since 2016.
Additionally, Vanessa’s eldest daughter from her marriage to Donald Trump Jr., Kai, joined her at the event as part of the First Family’s celebration.
The 18-year-old, who loves to play golf, plans to join the University of Miami’s golf team in the fall.
In the hospitality gallery by the 18th green, Eric Trump, the president’s son, was seated next to his father.
Vanessa Trump was present at the PGA Tour’s Cadillac Championship final round on Sunday.
Additionally, President Donald Trump was seen arriving at the “Trump Suite” in Doral, Florida.
Following the arrest of a guy by Secret Service personnel at a security checkpoint on the course, the President attended.
The man was seen being handcuffed and held by police at the Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami in footage that was shared on social media on Saturday.
According to the New York Post, he was detained for reportedly disobeying orders and “getting physical” with a Secret Service member.
The man was allegedly charged with disorderly conduct and nonviolent resistance after being brought to a detention facility in Miami.
Despite her relationship with Woods, Vanessa has gone to several golfing competitions in the last year.
Vanessa supported the 15-time major winner at several TGL matches this year, and the couple, who started dating around Thanksgiving 2024, visited the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club in greater Los Angeles, California in February.
Vanessa’s golf legend beau did not accompany her on Sunday, despite the golfing environment.
After receiving professional assistance following his automobile accident and DUI arrest in March, Woods is thought to be continuing his recuperation.
Kai, Vanessa’s 18-year-old daughter and a passionate golfer, accompanied her.
For more than eighteen months, Vanessa and golf legend Tiger Woods have been dating.
On March 27, Woods, 50, was arrested after overturning his SUV on Jupiter Island, Florida.
In the millionaire community of Jupiter Island on March 27, the troubled 50-year-old golfer flipped his SUV while attempting to pass a truck and trailer at a fast speed.
After police discovered two tablets in Woods’ pocket at the scene, he was charged with driving under the influence, causing property damage, and refusing to submit to a valid test. He entered a not guilty plea and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
After the arrest, Woods was thought to have gone to Zurich, Switzerland, to seek expert assistance at an ultra-exclusive recovery center. Additionally, officials informed the Daily Mail last week that Woods is making progress following “intense treatment” in rehab. “He’s got a pain management doctor who is helping him deal with his body pain without addictive opioids.”Vanessa, his children, and Mark Steinberg are the only people he calls or Zooms. “He’s responding well to treatment, and Vanessa is very happy with what she’s hearing.”
Vanessa, who separated from Trump Jr. in 2018, and Woods have been dating for around eighteen months.
Vanessa dispelled rumours that their relationship might be in jeopardy following his imprisonment by endorsing Woods on Instagram.
She posted a romantic picture of the two of them on Instagram with the caption, “Love you,” a week after his detention.
Woods climbs out of the passenger side of his Range Rover SUV and stands next to it.
The Secret Service arrested a man at Trump National Doral on Saturday.
The most recent incident marks Woods’ fourth run-in with the law after operating a vehicle.
In 2017, police discovered him slumped in his car in Florida with five substances in his system, including two opioids, leading to his arrest for another DUI.
Later, in 2021, Woods was buried beneath the car in a similar collision in California, shattering his right leg. To heal from his wounds, he required several surgeries.
In November 2009, after wife Elin Nordegren found out he had been having an affair, he attempted to leave his Florida house but smashed into a fire hydrant. It caused his reputation to fall apart, from which he has never fully recovered.
Officers claimed he was driving at “high speeds” and “showed signs of impairment” when he rolled his SUV last month, including “bloodshot and glassy” eyes with “extremely dilated pupils,” even though he passed a breathalyser test at the site of the collision.
Two white tablets that were discovered on Woods by a constable have since been determined to be the narcotic hydrocodone. After being arrested for refusing to submit to a urine test, he entered a not guilty plea to a DUI allegation.
