On their first wedding anniversary, Edo praised Beatrice as the “kindest, most beautiful lady.”
On their first wedding anniversary, husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi hailed PRINCESS BEATRICE as the “kindest, loveliest, and most attractive person in the world.”
On July 17, 2020, Beatrice, 32, and Edoardo, 38, married at Windsor’s Royal Chapel of All Saints. It was originally set for May 29, but due to the coronavirus epidemic, it was postponed, and a private reception at Buckingham Palace was canceled.
A year later, on July 19, England will celebrate Freedom Day, when all lockdown restrictions will be lifted across the country.
And Beatrice is expecting their first child in the autumn.
After the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second child, Lilibet Diana, in June, the infant will be the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild.
“I can’t believe it’s been a year,” Edoardo wrote in his anniversary post.
“Since then, every second of every day has been filled with joy, happiness, laughing, and love.
“You are the world’s nicest, loveliest, and most gorgeous person.
“Thank you for every second, my darling.”
Alessandro “Alex” Mapelli-Mozzi, a British Olympian and part of an Italian noble family, is the multimillionaire property developer’s father.
Before launching Banda, a property development and interior design firm, Edoardo earned a master’s degree in politics from Edinburgh University.
Because his father is friends with Sarah Ferguson, he and Beatrice have known one other from childhood.
Following Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank in 2019, romance flourished.
Soon later, Beatrice and Edoardo announced their engagement.
“Our family has known Beatrice for most of her life,” his parents added.
“Edo and Beatrice were designed for each other, and their joy and love for one another is palpable.
“They have a really strong and connected tie, and their marriage will only add to what is already a fantastic relationship.”
