On the Duchess of Sussex’s birthday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are ‘expected’ to share the first photo of Lili.
MEGHAN MARKLE and Prince Harry may choose to publicly commemorate the Duchess of Sussex’s 40th birthday by publishing a photo of their daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana, according to analysts.
Meghan is turning 40 in a few hours and is reportedly planning a small party at the Sussexes’ Montecito property with a few friends. However, two royal analysts predict the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will commemorate this significant birthday in public.
Tomorrow, according to royal pundit Phil Dampier, could be the ideal time for Meghan and Harry to share an updated family photo with the Sussexes’ supporters.
“I believe we will see a picture of the family,” he told the Sun Online.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if Meghan releases a photo of herself with Lilibet to commemorate her 40th birthday, as they’ll want to emphasize what a happy family unit they are,” Royal author Adam Helliker believes it’s “possible” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will release the first public photo of Lili to commemorate Meghan’s birthday.
A similar approach, he believes, “would be slightly in bad taste, as it would be perceived as helping to promote the Sussexes’ brand.”
Meghan’s birthday will fall in the second month of Lili’s life, as the baby was born on June 4 in a Santa Barbara hospital.
Meghan and Harry are on parental leave at the moment and have yet to reveal a photo of their daughter.
They are not expected to expose their child to the world within a specific timeline because they are no longer functioning members of the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were still senior royals at the time of Archie Harrison’s birth in 2019, held a picture call with their newborn baby two days after his delivery at London’s Portland Hospital.
On the now-defunct Sussex Royal Instagram account, a few photos of the child were released to commemorate special occasions such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed a few rare photographs of Archie even after they officially stood down as senior royals at the end of March 2020.
