On his father’s farm, a 3-year-old boy was struck down and murdered by a tractor.
A FAMILY has been left inconsolably upset when a three-year-old kid was murdered by a tractor on his father’s farm.
After colliding with a vehicle at a farm in rural Pembrokeshire, Wales, Ianto Jenkins was pronounced deceased at the spot. At around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, police arrived in the Clynderwen area and commenced an investigation into the occurrence, with the family being accompanied by specialized personnel.
“Dyfed-Powys Police was informed to a collision involving a vehicle and a child at a private property in the Clynderwen area at approximately 7pm on Tuesday, August 3,” a spokeswoman for the force said in a statement.
“Unfortunately, a three-year-old boy was killed on the spot.
“An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy is ongoing, and specialist officers are assisting the family.
“The Health and Safety Executive and HM Coroner have been informed,” the statement continued. No one else was hurt.”
Ianto’s tributes have been pouring in since his death, which was “too soon.”
The boy’s father updated his Facebook profile photo, which shows him smiling while sitting next to his father on a tractor.
“Deepest sympathies to you and your family,” one user said.
“I couldn’t imagine such a nightmare, but I can assure you that your entire family, friends, the people of Efailwen, and the whole of Wales are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
“Remember the happy memories you have and strive to stay strong.”
“Thinking of you and your family,” another said.
“I can’t even imagine how you’re feeling. “Never give up.”
“Absolutely devastated, taken too too soon,” said a third.
“Ianto, you will be missed, RIP.”
