On her first Mother’s Day as a mother of three, Rihanna and her lover A$AP Rocky have a date night in New York while she draws attention with her low-cut underwear

On Sunday, Rihanna celebrated her first Mother’s Day as a mother of three with her partner A$AP Rocky over a romantic dinner at the upscale Italian eatery Cucina Alba in New York City.

The 38-year-old Umbrella singer, who gave birth to her son Rocky Irish in September, attracted attention by donning skimpy black lace undergarments over a stylish black suit.

Rihanna, who also has two-year-old Riot Rose and three-year-old RZA Athelston with the rapper, covered her eyes with large sunglasses.

In the meantime, A$AP—real name: Rakim Athelston Mayers—looked as chic in sunglasses and a beige suede trench.

It follows Rihanna’s announcement of her new tattoo, which was created by her young children, and her response to rumours that she was fighting with her spouse at the Met Gala.

There are fresh ink marks on the back of her knee, which were probably abstract drawings made by one or both of her older children.

On Sunday, Rihanna celebrated her first Mother’s Day as a mother of three with her partner A$AP Rocky over a romantic dinner at the upscale Italian eatery Cucina Alba in New York City.

Three-year-old boy RZA Athelston, two-year-old son Riot Rose, and seven-month-old daughter Rocky Irish are the three children that Rihanna and Rocky have together.

The A-lister’s tattoo session was captured on Instagram by celebrity tattoo artist Keith Scott “Bang Bang” McCurdy.

The 40-year-old artist from New York even displayed the piece’s inspiration, which was Rihanna’s kids’ drawings on a piece of paper covered in stickers from the Nickelodeon animated series Paw Patrol.

Rihanna was seen admiring her clever tattoo in a mirror while sporting a pair of small black shorts, suggesting that she was happy with it.

In an interview with Extra back in December, the megastar became emotional and gushed about her growing children, demonstrating how important motherhood is to her.

“The babies are amazing,” she said to Extra. They’re all getting bigger, and I can’t stand it. Oh my God, my sons’ looks are changing. Their necks are growing longer. I adore it.

Rocky said that RZA and Riot are “getting along” better than he anticipated, and their kids are “cute as ever.”

The 38-year-old Umbrella singer attracted attention with her black lace undergarments, which she wore over a stylish black suit.

Rakim Athelston Mayers, better known as A$AP, looked equally chic with sunglasses and a beige suede trench.

“I’m surprised that the older two are getting along as much as they are,” the rapper remarked. They usually quarrel a lot because they are so close in age, yet they are a happy family.

He acknowledged that their older kids are sometimes “a little jealous” of their newborn sister, but he emphasised that there is only love in the home.

In 2023, Rihanna told Vogue that parenting is “everything” and that Rocky, her long-time lover, is her “best friend.”

Rihanna described giving birth as a “head-f**k” and claimed she couldn’t believe she went into the hospital pregnant and exited with a baby. She also characterised her first few months as a mother as a rollercoaster.

The singer said that having a child has also caused her to reconsider, calling raising her son one of the “scariest” tasks of her life.

“Raising a young Black man is one of the scariest duties in life […] You’re like, “What am I leaving my kids to?” she added. Will they be residing on this planet?

Despite the difficulties of parenting, Rihanna maintained that it has only strengthened her bond with her husband Rocky, calling them “best friends with a baby.”

“Having a baby changes everything, but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer,” she continued.

She also gushed about Rocky’s relationship with their son, describing their deep bond and claiming that their infant boy needs his father’s approval.

Rihanna announced her second pregnancy at her highly anticipated halftime Super Bowl in 2023, only nine months after giving birth to her first child.

On September 13, 2025, Rihanna and Rocky had their third child.
