NEW Ex On The Beach will see the show’s legendary sex and snogging banned, as the action relocates from Mexico to London.
The popular dating show has had to dramatically revise the forthcoming series in line with current coronavirus social distancing rules.
Fans will know episodes of the MTV favourite are usually full to the brim with rowdy behaviour and under the covers couple action.
Viewers stay hooked as they watch exes reunite on a tropical beach or find new love with a fellow housemate.
In the past viewers years, fans were left gobsmacked as Sean Pratt and Zahida Allen christened the garden furniture in the spotlight – while their villa mates looked on.
Or the popular penthouse being the go to for a private rendez-vous, whether it be exes Jacques Fraser and Nicole Bass heading there on his very first night, or Ross Worswick promising Harriette Harper wouldn’t be leaving without a “good seeing to.”
Instead this year the show will go ahead, but with some huge changes because of the current pandemic.
A source told The Sun Online: “MTV had to work out what a socially distanced EOTB would look like, so it’s now a ‘table of terror’ style dating show – where the cast go on dates but their ex can show up at any time and interrupt the date.
“It’s filming in London and any kind of fluid swapping will be discouraged for distancing reasons.
“It’s going to be different but still as dramatic as the previous series.”
Previous luxury locations for the show, which first aired in 2014, have included Bali, Crete, Cancun in Mexico and Koh Samui, Thailand.
A host of familiar reality TV stars have appeared including Joey Essex, Aaron Chalmers, Stephen Bear, Chloe Ferry, Gaz Beadle, Jess Impiazzi and Vicky Pattison.
Actress Jess appeared on the series with her ex-boyfriend Rogan O’Connor.
While former TOWIE star Joey found love on the show with Mexican model Lorena Medina last year, but they eventually split earlier this year.
