A MAN who was kidnapped in China more than two decades ago has been reunited with his parents.
After being kidnapped by human traffickers as a child, a Chinese man had an emotional reunion with his parents.
Guo Xinzhen’s father has spent the last 24 years on a harrowing journey in search of his lost son, during which he fractured bones and was confronted by robbers.
Guo Gangtang rode his motorcycle throughout the country in a desperate search for his son, who had been kidnapped when he was just two years old.
Mr. Xinzhen vanished in front of his family’s Shandong house in 1997.
On a trip that cost him his life savings, Mr Gangtang, 51, traveled 310,000 kilometers around China following tip-offs.
He had a banner with him with his son’s photo on it in case the information could bring him to him.
Mr Xinzhen’s identity was discovered thanks to DNA tests, according to China’s Ministry of Public Security.
Two suspects were later identified and detained, according to Global Times.
According to China News, the two suspects were dating at the time of their abduction.
