THE mum of the little girl found wandering the streets alone in South East London has been found, police said.
Officers were called to a residential street in Catford – where homes sell for £1.3million – at 4.45pm after a member of the public found the youngster.
Authorities issued an urgent appeal to find her family, and have said they were able to find her mum.
The little girl was unable to tell officers her name or address – proving it difficult find her family.
Police said the child, who was found in Ravensbourne Road, is safe and well in their care.
A spokesperson for Lewis MPS said: “Police were appealing for help to trace the parents or guardian of a young girl found alone in the street this afternoon.
“We have since located her mother.”
