THE reigning Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden has been charged with raping a fellow bodybuilder.
Rhoden, known as “Flexatron”, has been charged with first-degree rape, US media reports.
The 260-pound muscle man is accused of forcing himself on a female bodybuilder in a hotel room, New York post reports.
Lieutenant Dean Carriger told the title: “On October 12, 2018, the Sandy City Police Department received a report of a sex offense at the Courtyard Marriott in Sandy City and Shawn Rhoden, 44-year-old male from California, was listed as a suspect.
“Following an extensive investigation, Sandy Police detectives submitted the case to the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office on one allegation of rape against Shawn Rhoden.
“The DA’s office filed formal charges…and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest”

The woman allegedly told police Rhoden eventually got off of her and allowed her to leave, US media cites charging documents as claiming.
His arrest warrant was reportedly issued on Thursday.
His bail has been set for £600,000 TMZ reports.
The Jamaican-American bodybuilding champion is self-described as having “one of the most sculpted, muscular physiques in the nation.”
His career in bodybuilding began in 1992, but he had previously been a keen football player.
He is the oldest bodybuilder in history to win the Mr. Olympia title, at the age of 43.
He came 11th in his debut Mr. Olympia in 2011.
