A mother has shared her incredibly simple one-pan recipe to create the ultimate roast beef with garlic herb butter in a slow cooker.
Phoebe, from Western Australia, shared the secret ingredients she used after she made the perfectly succulent roast dinner for her family.
The mother-of-two said all you’ll need are butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper, onion and a large family size roast beef.
‘Tonight’s slow cooked beef garlic and herb butter with gravy. It was amazing. Kids and hubby all loved it,’ she said in Slow Cooker Recipes Australia Facebook group.
‘Definitely doing this one again. So delicious.’
To make the dish, she combined the ingredients such as butter, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper in a bowl until it forms a paste.
Next, she patted the beef dry with a paper towel, before coating the roast with the mixture until its well covered.
She then placed the roast in the slow cooker on a bed of chopped onion.
Phoebe said she allowed the roast to cook for six hours on low until it’s brown and cooked to her liking. She served it with mash potatoes and green vegetables.
After sharing her easy-to-follow recipe, many were amazed at how simple it is, while others said they couldn’t wait to make it themselves at home.
Many described her recipe as ‘simple’ yet such a ‘great idea’.
‘This looks amazing, can’t wait to try,’ one said, while another added: ‘Oh my goodness, this looks delicious.’
