Mike Tindall teases that he and Zara would renew their wedding vows after reaching a major milestone.
Mike Tindall has hinted that he and Zara might rekindle their wedding vows in the future.
Mike and Zara just celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary this year. And the former England rugby player has confirmed that he and the Queen’s granddaughter would renew their vows.
Mike was featured in a special Loose Men show on ITV last Friday to commemorate International Men’s Day.
Vernon Kay, the show’s host, asked the former England rugby player if he would reaffirm his marital vows.
“I believe I would,” Mike said.
“When you have children, it can’t always be daisies and rainbows after you’ve gone through what you describe, a marriage or long-term commitment.”
Mike married equestrian Zara at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh on July 20, 2011.
The bride looked stunning in an ivory gown by Stewart Parvin, the Queen’s designer, with a tiara previously worn by her mother, Princess Anne.
Mia, seven, Lena, three, and infant Lucas are the couple’s children.
In July, Mike and Zara celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary.
Their third kid was born in March, and they celebrated their milestone anniversary a few months later.
During an episode of Mike’s podcast The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby, he announced the arrival of the tot.
“Sunday was made even better since a little baby boy arrived at my house,” he said.
“It was a very speedy arrival. I wasn’t able to make it to the hospital. On the floor of the bathroom.
“So it was going to the gym, getting a mat, getting into the restroom, getting the mat on the floor, towels down, brace, brace, brace,” says the author.
“The nicest part about being at home, the best thing about being at home was, as soon as he’s wrapped up, he’s skin on skin, straight downstairs,” the former England rugby player continued. Room with a television. Let’s go golfing. That’s what we’re up to.” The 22nd in line to the throne, Zara and Mike’s son, is an ordinary Master Tindall, not an HRH.
Lucas Philip Tindall is his full name, which is a beautiful homage to Prince Philip and Mike’s father, who is also named Philip.
Princess Eugenie’s son August was also baptized this weekend in a rare double royal christening at Windsor.
