Mel B has stated that when she began going through the menopause and experienced “scary” symptoms, she thought something was wrong with her.
The 50-year-old Spice Girl told Daily Mail that she was going to see her doctor to find out what was wrong because she was experiencing anxiety and nighttime heat sweats.
Mel, the new worldwide face of Revive Collagen, spoke at London’s Ce La Vie rooftop pub in Paddington and talked about her struggles.
She stated, “I was having severe hot sweats and I recall when I hit 50, I would be sitting in a conference and I would be asking, “Is everybody else hot?” while sporting a really seductive purple latex dress and heels. I had no idea what was happening, I thought to myself. I believe there is a slight issue with me.I realise it’s chilly here and I relocated from Los Angeles to Leeds, but what the f**k is happening on?
In an interview with Daily Mail, Mel B, 50, described her “scary” menopause symptoms and how she and her new husband, Rory McPhee, 37, became more compatible in the bedroom.
On July 5, 2025, Mel wed Rory, her third husband, at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Mel claimed that she had to find a means to stop sweating so much at night because Rory is usually cold.
In reality, Mel B’s new husband, 37-year-old hairdresser Rory McPhee, was a bit of a cropper when it came to their sexual practices.
On July 5, 2025, Mel wed Rory, her third husband, at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Mel claimed that she needed to find a means to stop sweating so much at night while Rory was always cool.
They therefore purchased an Eight Sleep Pod mattress, which can cost up to £3,000 and enables separate heating and cooling for each side of the bed.
“We do have the Eight pod because I like a freezing bedroom and I was getting hot sweats at night,” Mel remarked. It’s very cold on my side of the bed. The mattress controls the temperature and it wakes you up gently. It’s brilliant.
Rory is a bit of a softie and enjoys anything quite attractive. I prefer things to be extremely cold. “I always like a window open even in winter but I needed it even colder” is how I’ve always been.
Mel claimed that she was experiencing anxiety throughout her menopause and questioned whether it could be related to her previous violent marriage to Stephen Belafonte, her second husband.
“It’s an ongoing thing when you suffer abuse,” she stated. I questioned why I was experiencing increased anxiety and self-doubt.
I’m aware that my ten-year abusive marriage has caused me a lot of hardship, and I questioned if I still required therapy. It’s a continuous issue.

Mel claimed that after discovering the science behind Revive and realising it truly works, she made the decision to become a brand ambassador for the company.
“It just so happened that I was about to go to my GP and have a serious talk with him and ask what was going on when I started taking Revive,” she said. “It couldn’t have come at a better time – and the good thing is that it can work alongside HRT so whatever your body doesn’t need, it flushes out anyway.” “I don’t need HRT now, not that I ever had it.” But I was going to have it and look into it. “You have to realise that what you are going through is not your fault, even though there isn’t much research into the menopause, which I’ve renamed the MEL-opause.” “A billion women worldwide go through menopause every single year.” “There is so much misinformation but it’s so good that we are talking about it.” What you are going through might be extremely frightening because it can happen at 35, 50, or ten years.
