MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry will return to the UK for charity work, according to Omid Scobie.

The Finding Freedom author revealed that the pair will fly to and from their California home to ensure they stick to their royal patronages.

Meghan took on four patronages when she married Harry, including two from the Queen – while the couple continue to work on charities Sentenable and Archewell.

Meanwhile, their unofficial biography Finding Freedom has topped the UK book charts after selling 31,000 copies last week, according data provider Nielsen Book.

It has also been popular on both sides of the pond on Amazon, reaching number on the UK and US versions of their bestsellers’ list.

MEGHAN HAS ‘PICKED UP AN ENGLISH ACCENT AFTER TWO YEARS WITH HARRY’

Meghan often slips into a British accent back in the US, a source revealed.

The former actress, 39, picked it up during her two years living here with Prince Harry.

They added: “Meghan was the all-American girl before she met Harry, but since living in the UK she’s adopted certain phrases.

“Her staff think it’s amusing to listen to an American celebrity using Britishisms. She’s often heard saying, ‘Oh dahling,’ to people at home.

“They do have a giggle about it and sometimes they do impressions of her but only in a light-hearted way. It’s funny to them.”

PRINCE HARRY WILL BE KNOWN AS ‘THE BLOKE WHO USED TO BE IN THE ROYAL FAMILY’ SAYS EXPERT

Royal author Stephen Bates thinks Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s “celebrity” status is not sustainable in the long term now that they have “stepped back” as senior royals.

In an interview with The Guardian, the author of Royalty Inc: Britain’s Best-Known Brand insisted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will still have to answer to the Royal Family – despite their shock move to Canada.

He argued: “Their association, via their name, is chiefly what they have. All this stuff about huge marketing opportunities and people talking up ‘their brand’ and how much it will earn them…

“Obviously their celebrity will carry them so far – but in a year or two’s time, what are they going to do?”

HARRY & MEGHAN ARE ‘PITCHING TOP SECRET PROJECT TO HOLLYWOOD EXECUTIVES’

The former royal couple have been sharing their ideas with “numerous” media companies since they purchased their sprawling estate in Santa Barbara.

Meghan and Harry are planning to gain a foothold in Hollywood and intend to serve as joint producers on the venture should it get picked up, Variety claims.

Inside sources claim that NBC Universal was among the media outlets who heard the former royals’ pitch.

A meeting is said to have been set up with top executives at the company, including Bonnie Hammer, the chairman of NBCUniversal Content Studios, who knew Markle from her years as an actor on Suits.

A friend of Meghan’s told Variety that she has no intention of acting in her project with Harry or in any other ventures.

It’s not known whether this secret project would be a TV series or would take another media format.

MEGHAN MARKLE HAD THIS SWEET NICKNAME AS A CHILD

The former Suits actress previously revealed her childhood nicknames on her lifestyle blog The Tig.

Responding to a fan Q&A, Meghan revealed: “My nickname is Meg, M&M and Flower (which my mom has called me since I was little.”

Meanwhile Prince Charles calls his daughter-in-law Tungsten.

The bizarre nickname is inspired by a tough metal, known for its robustness and strength.

MEGHAN LOVES BOXED MAC & CHEESE

A few years ago, the Duchess of Sussex admitted to indulging in “boxed mac and cheese”, revealing she “loves” the stuff.

In an interview with blog Eye Swoon in 2017, the 37-year-old was asked about the one food she “embarrassingly and secretly loves to eat”.

“I love a french fry, but there’s no shame in that,” she explained.

“But you know what I do really happen to love is that boxed macaroni and cheese.

“I now buy the Annie’s organic one if I’m craving it, but I throw some frozen peas into it and have this gooey, simple childlike meal.”

FINDING FREEDOM TOPS UK BOOK CHART

Harry and Meghan’s unofficial biography Finding Freedom by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand has topped UK book charts.

The bombshell book has sold 31,000 copies since being released last week according to new figures from data provider Nielsen Book.

The tome has also topped the Amazon UK and Amazon US best-sellers chart.

ARTHUR EDWARDS SAYS IT’S A ‘TRAGEDY’ HARRY & WILLS ‘FELL OUT OVER MEGHAN’

Appearing on This Morning, The Sun’s legendary royal photographer – who has been taking photos of the family since 1977 – said Prince Harry and Prince William had a “very close” relationship.

“Since they were born I watched them grow up together and they were very close,” he said. “The tragedy is they are no longer talking to each other and it must be over Meghan.

“Because before that Harry, Catherine and William were doing wonderful things together, the mental health charity, they were inspired.”

MEGHAN ‘ALWAYS PUTS SO MUCH DETAIL IN’ SAYS FORMER HAIRDRESSER

Speaking to Grazia, Meghan’s former hairdresser and close friend George Northwood revealed that the Duchess every aspect of her looks are “very well thought out”.

He said: “Her hair often looks so effortless but she’s actually the most thoughtful person, even down to the smallest detail like her jewellery.

“We worked together for two years – and I hope to continue whenever she’s back in the UK – collaborating to create the effortlessly cool buns that she wears as well as the sleek, polished hair.”

MEGHAN HAD ‘UNREALISTIC’ EXPECTATIONS OF ‘BUSY’ KATE MIDDLETON

Meghan had “unrealistic expectations” of her friendship with “busy” Kate Middleton and “took things personally”, an insider has claimed.

Appearing on the Channel 5 documentary Meghan & Harry: The New Revelations, royal expert Katie Nicholl claimed Meghan Markle looked to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton for guidance when she became a member of the Royal Family.

Vanity Fair’s royal editor said: “While there might have been an expectation from Meghan that Kate was going to sit down and show her the ropes, perhaps that was an unrealistic expectation.

“The Duchess of Cambridge is a busy woman but Meghan clearly took that quite personally.”

PRINCE HARRY DID NOT SAY ‘WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?’ TO THE QUEEN

The Duke of Sussex reportedly stepped in during a dispute over the tiara Meghan Markle was going to wear for their wedding day – complaining not enough was being done to set up a hair trial with the jewels.

Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie claimed in an interview: “Harry had to intervene.

“He called his grandmother and said, ‘I don’t know what the hell is going on. But this woman needs to make this work for my future wife’.”

But a source today told the Telegraph the suggestion that Harry “yelled” at his grandmother the Queen was “totally untrue”.

“The Duchess of Cambridge is a busy woman but Meghan clearly took that quite personally.”
In the bombshell biography Finding Freedom, co-authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claim Meghan and Kate’s relationship “struggled to move past distant politeness even though Meghan tried”.
The book claims: “Kate felt they didn’t have much in common – other than the fact they lived at Kensington Palace.”

WILL AND HARRY CUT TIES FOR TWO MONTHS OVER MEGXIT

William and Prince Harry barely speak — and cut contact completely for two months.

The depth of their rift is revealed by writer Omid Scobie today in a TV interview about his pro-Meghan biography Finding Freedom.

In a new interview to be broadcast around the world on True Royalty TV, Scobie tells presenter Kate Thornton of the silence between the brothers since Megxit.

He says: “The brothers had not spoken since around the time of the Sandringham summit. They hadn’t seen each other. That’s really going to take some time to heal.”

Scobie, who is promoting his pro-Meghan biography Finding Freedom, adds: “I think the distance between the brothers grew wider and wider.

“And that’s partly because of things that take place — and we discuss them in the book.”

Scobie says the relationship between the brothers broke down entirely because Harry and Meghan released their plan to Megxit, causing damage to the monarchy.

MEGHAN AND HARRY WILL RETURN TO UK FOR CHARITY WORK, SAYS OMID SCOBIE

Harry and Meghan will return to the UK to continue their charity work, the author of Finding Freedom claimed today.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit the Royal Family this year – upping sticks from the UK to start their new life in the US.

And while Finding Freedom biographer Omid Scobie today said it was unlikely the couple would become working royals again, he claimed they would start “undertaking trips to the UK, both privately and professionally” when coronavirus restrictions were lifted.

Speaking with Royal Central, the reporter said: “Harry and Meghan have made it clear that their work in the UK, including their royal patronages, will continue.

“While their base will be in the US, I think once travel restrictions ease we will see them moving around again and undertaking trips to the UK, both privately and professionally.

“After all, this is a couple that loves to get out there and be active in the field. Plus, a lot of the work they already started, including all four of Meghan’s patronages, are right here on British soil.”

HARRY AND WILL RUN ‘HOT AND COLD’ WITH CHARLES

William and Harry’s relationship with their dad Prince Charles “runs hot and cold” according to author Omid Scobie.

Scobie was being interviewed about the new royal biography Finding Freedom for the TV show Royal Beat where he shared an insight into the brothers’ relationship with their dad.

Interviewed by Kate Thornton, Scobie discusses the family portrait that was taken to mark the Prince of Wales’ 70th birthday.

Reports suggested that the photo, which featured the Cambridges and Sussexes alongside Charles and Camilla, had been an “absolute nightmare” to shoot because of the deteriorating relationship between Harry and William.

However, Scobie says that it was in fact the brothers’ relationship with their dad that was the issue.

Speaking in the interview, he explains: “Of course schedules do come into that but the other reason I was given was that the boys have in the past run hot and cold with their father.”

MEGHAN’S BEST FRIEND JESSICA MULRONEY DOES CRYPTIC POST ABOUT BEING ‘TOO SCARED TO LEAVE THE HOUSE IN MONTHS’

Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney did an Instagram post about ‘being too scared to leave the house in months’ falling her alleged fall out with the duchess.

The Canadian stylist, 40, from Toronto, took a hiatus from social media after a racism row in June, after which Meghan is said to have kept her distance from her former pal.

Jessica shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories last night in her car which had the caption: “Was so scared to leave my house. But he got me to do it for the first time in months.”

The mum-of-three could have been referring to leaving the house after months in lockdown, but Jessica has not been seen in public in months after the alleged fall out.

Jessica denies any falling out between her and Meghan, and responded to a comment made about the split on Instagram by saying “fake news”.

MEGHAN’S FRIENDSHIP WITH IVANKA TRUMP ‘AIRBRUSHED’ FROM BIOGRAPHY TO ‘PROTECT THEIR MISSION’ IT’S CLAIMED

Meghan’s friendship with Ivanka Trump was “conveniently airbrushed” from the new biography Finding Freedom, a columnist has claimed.

Craig Brown, a critic and satirist, says that the Duchess of Sussex’s association with Donald Trump’s daughter was not mentioned to protect her “mission.”

On her now-defunct blog The Tig, Meghan wrote of the president’s daughter in 2014 calling her “staggeringly beautiful” and “intelligent”.

And in his book, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, Andrew Morton reveals Meghan “was thrilled when Ivanka agreed to fill in her simple questionnaire for Tig Talk.

“More thrilled when she accepted her invitation to meet for drinks and dinner the next time Meghan was in New York.”

But no mention was made of their acquaintance in the new unofficial biography Finding Freedom, with Brown claiming this was a deliberate move.

Writing for the Mail on Sunday, he says: “The authors of Finding Freedom conveniently airbrush Ivanka from the record, perhaps fearful that the Trump formula for success and happiness might jar against Harry and Meghan’s new mission to ‘build a humanitarian legacy that will make a profound difference in the world’.”

HARRY SHOUTED ‘WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON’ AT QUEEN IN ASTONISHING OUTBURST, ROYAL BIOGRAPHER CLAIMS

Harry was furious at the Queen’s dresser Angela Kelly after she was unable to meet Meghan’s demand to travel to Buckingham Palace to try on a tiara she wanted to wear at her wedding in May 2018.

The shocking exchange was revealed by Omid Scobie in a TV interview about his book Finding Freedom, which charts Meghan and Harry’s relationship and their departure from the Royal Family.

And the Sun’s Dan Wootton exclusively revealed that the Duke of Sussex “yelled” at the Queen over Meghan’s wedding day tiara.

In a new interview to be broadcast around the world today on True Royalty TV, Scobie tells presenter Kate Thornton about the incident.

Scobie claims the royal institution would “stop at nothing to make Meghan’s life difficult”, especially over rows surrounding their departing PA and the Duchess’ wedding tiara.

MEGHAN’S RESURFACED BLOG POST REVEALED EX-BOYFRIEND SLEPT WITH MALE AGENT

Her romance with Prince Harry may be every inch the modern fairytale – but when Meghan Markle was a struggling actress in LA, her private life wasn’t always so smooth sailing.

The Duchess of Sussex lifted the lid on her former lover’s romps in a now deleted web page she wrote about being a struggling actress in LA back in 2010.

The Suits star was unmasked as the woman behind the hugely popular The Working Actress blog in 2018.

Meghan chronicled her battle to land parts in the hugely competitive Hollywood TV and movie industry on the site.

And in an online post she wrote: “You know the industry is insane when: You find out that after you broke up, your struggling actor-ex-boyfriend had sex with your agent.

“And your agent is a dude. Awesome. And yes, that did happen.”

MEGHAN’S FAVOURITE HIGH STREET HOSIERY

She might have access to the world’s top designers – but when it comes to hosiery, Meghan Markle looks no further than M&S.

Last year, Meghan wore the high street favourite to a service at Westminster Abbey while she was pregnant with baby Archie.

She often goes bare-legged but covered up for the Commonwealth Day event as the Queen is keen on royal women wearing hosiery.

Meghan spent £6 on a pair of illusion Autograph tights.

A source said: “Meghan loves M&S and is a proud supporter of British brands.”

MEGHAN ACTED ‘LIKE A PRINCESS’ BEFORE MEETING HARRY, CO-STAR CLAIMS

When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in 2018, the couple’s love story was likened to a real-life fairytale.

And one of the Duchess of Sussex’s former co-stars has revealed that Meghan “acted like a Princess” years before she even met her prince.

Appearing on the American chat show Fair Game with Kristine Leahy, Meghan’s former co-star Gregg Sulkin said: “Everybody does know her as a princess, but in real life, she genuinely is also like a princess.”

The London-born actor, 26, appeared alongside Meghan in the 2015 crime drama Anti-Social.

Describing what she was like to work with, Gregg said: “She is one of the classiest, the nicest, one of the most sincere and genuine people I’ve ever met.

“She was a superstar. To me, I’m so proud of the fact that she’s part of my country’s history in all honesty, aside from obviously having a personal relationship with her.”

MEGHAN ALWAYS ‘PUTS SO MUCH DETAIL IN’ – EVEN WITH ‘EFFORTLESS’ LOOKS

Meghan Markle may always looks effortlessly chic – but according to an insider, a lot of time and effort goes into each of her looks.

The celebrity hairdresser – who works with Daisy Edgar Jones, Claudia Winkleman and Florence Pugh – revealed that the sleek bun he did for Meghan for the 2018 British Fashion Awards was his favourite look.

Describing the Duchess as “one of the most caring, genuine and warm people”, George also revealed how Meghan once “frightened him half to death” by jumping out at him on his birthday.

ARTHUR EDWARDS SAYS IT’S A ‘TRAGEDY’ HARRY AND WILLS ‘FELL OUT OVER MEGHAN’

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards has said it’s a “tragedy” Prince Harry and William “fell out over Meghan Markle” as they always worked together “wonderfully”.

In 2017, Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton founded the mental health Heads Together campaign as part of their Royal Foundation work – which Prince Harry has now split from.

Arthur also revealed that the Duke of Sussex previously “went out of his way” to help him get the best pictures and would even make cups of tea for the press during tours.

MEGHAN’S HANDWRITING PROVES SHE’S A ‘PERFECTIONIST’, EXPERT CLAIMS

Long before she married into the Royal Family, Meghan Markle worked at the US stationery shop, Paper Source where she taught calligraphy lessons.

And according to expert graphologist Tracey Trussell, the Duchess’ stunning scrawl – pictured below – is indicative of her “perfectionist nature”.

Analysing Meghan’s signature from an autograph her and Harry signed in Belfast in March 2018, Tracy claims the way the former actress writes her name reveals she is a “romantic, passionate and devoted woman, who will need the protection of the man she loves”.

Judging by the way Meghan writes the elegant hook on her capital ‘M’, Tracey said that “nothing will stop her until she’s satisfied her goal”.

She added that the Duchess will be “extremely committed to whatever she undertakes” – namely her humanitarian work with Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s upward endstrokes reveal that “she wants to do good deeds in life” and that “she’s determined in the way she goes about achieving her far-reaching ambitions”.

PRINCE HARRY’S BEST MAN SPEECH MADE KATE ‘SHED A TEAR’ ON HER WEDDING DAY

The Duchess of Cambridge, 38, was moved to tears by Harry’s best man speech for his brother William, who tied the knot in April 2011, a royal author claimed.

Katie Nicholl’s 2017 biography Harry: Life, Loss, and Love gave a glimpse into the Cambridge’s wedding reception.

In this book, she said of the speech: “It was affectionate, warm and funny and touched William deeply.

“When he said the couple’s decade-long romance was his inspiration, there was a shy smile from Chelsy, while Kate shed a tear.”

MEGHAN FELT ‘LET DOWN’ BY KATE IN ‘DARKER MOMENTS

Author of Finding Freedom Omid Scobie, who admits to speaking to Harry and Meghan in the notes of his book, accuses Kate of having a part in the relationship failing.

He says: “I don’t think there was really much attempt to make them stay.

“If I’m being honest — and that’s highlighted throughout the book — the relationship between Meghan and Kate really never progressed that far.

“Meghan felt there wasn’t much effort made on Kate’s side to look after her during some of the darker moments, particularly during her pregnancy.”
