At the age of 92, Coronation Street actor Mark Eden died.
The actor’s agent announced that, after being hospitalized in November, he died early on New Year’s Day.
His agent said he had “for some time.” been dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.
Mr. Eden’s career spanned more than 50 years, and he was known for being Alan Bradley, his Corrie character.
“We are very sad to announce the death of actor Mark Eden,” his agent reported in a statement to PA.
“Today, January 1, 2021, he died peacefully in the hospital. Mark had been struggling with Alzheimer’s disease for some time and was hospitalized in November.
“Mark, 92, had a long career spanning more than 50 years, including eight years on Coronation Street as the character Alan Bradley.”
His wife Sue, his daughter Polly, his stepson Saul and his granddaughter Emma survive him.
