Mansformation! You won’t believe what BGT’s Ronan Parke looks like now

BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Ronan Parke was one of the most talked-about young artists of 2011.

Taking to the stage in 2011 to perform Feelin’ Good, Ronan managed to get himself all the way to the final.

The 12-year-old youngster lost out on being crowned the winner of BGT 2011 by a margin – but while he still gained success from the show, he didn’t stay singing for too long.

In the usual BGT way, Ronan went on tour with the fellow finalists and even recorded an album, but only a year and a half into his career, he returned to school to finish his GCSE’s.

After seven years, he’s returned to the music scene – and he’s looking completely different.

“They don’t expect you to grow up”

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Ronan explored what it was like growing up after being a star as a youngster.

The now 20-year-old admitted: “It’s funny because when you’re on a show that the whole nation watches, people instantly think that’s how you look forever.

“I go to interviews now and people always comment on how I look, they don’t expect you to grow up.”

He added: “It is special that you are in the living room with these people, they have that moment with you.

“But they do keep that image in their head.”

While Ronan has been quite happy with his career since he’s relaunched it, he admitted that he struggled at one point about whether he wanted to be in the industry.

He added: “There are highs and lows.

“You have promises made to you and they don’t always happen. As a young person, I believed the things that were being told to me.

“I was impressionable and then they didn’t happen, it was hard to get my head around at a young age. It was really disappointing for me.”

At just twelve-years-old, Ronan struggled with finding his sound because of age-appropriation.

Now that he’s 20, he’s been able to release an album that’s full of all sorts of genres that he loves.

Ronan has now moved on to live shows, including a performance at Shout! magazine’s London Hangout in October.

His newest single, No Love Like First Love has already started picking up with his fans.
