MANCHESTER UNITED keeper David De Gea gave Luke Shaw’s phone number to Dani Carvajal following Spain’s win over England on Saturday.
Shaw was forced off during the second half after colliding with the Real Madrid star in the air.
The left-back was out cold and was treated on the pitch for several minutes, receiving oxygen before being stretchered off.
And Shaw was taken to hospital for a scan to determine the extent of the damage.
Despite the incident being accidental, Carvajal felt guilty and was unable to check on his opponent’s wellbeing following the game.

But according to Marca, the Spaniard retrieved Shaw’s number from his United team-mate De Gea and got in touch to offer his apologies.
The report claims Shaw thanked the right-back and insisted there were no hard feelings between the pair.
Fans feared the worst when the 23-year-old hit the deck during the Nations League encounter.
But following the game, Shaw eased any worries by providing an update on his condition.
He tweeted: “Thank you for all the love and support I am doing fine and am in the best hands.
“I’m a fighter so I will be back soon!”
The injury comes at an unfortunate time for Shaw after a stunning start to the season.
The former Southampton star has forced his way back into Jose Mourinho’s plans following a number of bust-ups last term.
Shaw’s performances earned him a recall to Gareth Southgate’s squad and he provided a pinpoint pass for club colleague Marcus Rashford to open the scoring against Spain.
However, England struggled to hold on against the former world champions and first-half strikes from Saul and Rodrigo sealed a comeback for Luis Enrique’s side.
United return to Premier League action this weekend with a trip to unbeaten Watford.
The occasion may be too soon for Shaw as he continues his recovery.
