Man Utd news: Paul Pogba mentions Barcelona as he speaks out about future AGAIN

MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Paul Pogba has been speaking about his future again, claiming “there will always be rumours”.

Pogba was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona during the summer transfer window amid speculation about his relationship with Jose Mourinho.

The World Cup winner said earlier this week that his “future is currently” at Old Trafford.

And he offered another lukewarm response when asked by Telefoot to comment on the transfer gossip.

“To speak about a transfer… I am under contract,” he said.

“There have always been little things with the coach, our relationship is still the same, manager-player.

“We have common objectives, which are to win.

“As long as you don’t see me in a Barcelona shirt, I am a Manchester United player.

“There will always be rumours.”

Pogba had a bust-up with Mourinho in February and was named on the bench for a number of crunch fixtures last term.

Despite starting all four Premier League games so far this season, the France international’s relationship with Mourinho remains the subject of speculation.

Speaking earlier this week, Pogba said: “We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right.

“One thing I can assure you, I will always give 100 per cent. No matter which coach I always give everything for United – I can not say more.”

United re-signed Pogba from Juventus for a club-record £89.3m in August 2016, but he has struggled to win over his critics.

The 25-year-old captained the team in the first two games of the current campaign, netting in both.

Pogba has won two major trophies since returning to United – the EFL Cup and Europa League in 2017.

He is under contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2021.
