M25 traffic pandemonium – lanes restricted near Heathrow Airport as a vehicle explodes into flames.
This morning, a CAR FIRE has caused havoc on the M25. Near Heathrow Airport, fire men are on the scene.
This morning on the M25, a vehicle erupted into flames, causing the closure of three out of four lanes on the London Orbital Motorway’s anticlockwise carriageway near the Heathrow Airport connection.
Two lanes are still closed.
Inrix, a travel and traffic service, stated: “Due to a car fire on the M25 anticlockwise after J14 A3113 Airport Way, two lanes are restricted and traffic is backed up (Heathrow). J15 traffic jam (M4 Interchange). The first and second (of four) lanes are closed. Three fire engines arrived on the site and put out the fire.” Later this morning, traffic conditions should return to normal.
Only one out of every four lanes is still closed.
Between 9.30 and 9.45 a.m., normal traffic is expected.
