A YOUTUBER died from a heart attack “caused by coronavirus”.
Lloyd Cadena, 26, from Metro Manila, Philippines passed away in his sleep last week after a positive coronavirus test result.
The vlogger’s heartbroken family said the heart attack was caused by coronavirus in a post to the 26-year-old’s social media accounts.
Thew post reads: “On September 4, 5 am he was seen by the staff unresponsive and pale looking.
“As informed by the doctor, he suffered a heart attack while asleep.”
The family added: “There are simply no words to express our heartfelt thanks for the prayers and sympathy you have extended to our family during this time of loss.”
Cadena was from Paranaque in the Philippines, he began his YouTube channel in 2010.
Since then he has 3 million subscribers and was best known for his humorous vlogs on his daily life.
Devastated fans flocked to his pages to pay tribute and express their shock over his abrupt death.
His last vlog was of his new home which he bought for his beloved mum.
He had a staggering five million followers on Facebook.
His family revealed the 26-year-old’s death in a heartbreaking post on Facebook.
The post reads: “It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved brother Lloyd Cafe Cadena,”
“May he be remembered for all the joy and laughter he shared with everyone. My family and I ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time.”
