LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp has given a frank update on the transfer situation at the club after Danny Ings left yesterday.
The Reds had a successful summer of deals, after splashing out big money and welcoming four new signings.
Klopp will have Alisson, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri all available to play this season.
But the departure of Danny Ings on deadline day left a sour taste in the mouths of some Reds fans.
The striker joined Southampton on a season-long loan, with Sky Sports reporting that a permanent £18m transfer to St Mary’s has been agreed for next summer.
“Will anymore leave? Yes. The transfers are only one way now”
But Klopp has admitted more of the same could unfold over the next month.
“We miss him [Danny] already, but things have to go on.
“He’s going back to his home club and I know he’s happy, so its nice for him.
“He is fully fit and in good shape like everyone could see against Torino.
“Will anymore leave? Yes. The transfers are only one way now.
“It’s closed for us to buy but we can only sell outside of England. Its clear a few more things will happen.”
Liverpool face West Ham tomorrow in their first game of the season.
Fans will be looking forward to seeing what the Hammers can produce, after they spent £100m on nine new signings.
Manuel Pellegrini brought in big names such as Lucas Perez, Andriy Yarmolenko, Jack Wilshere and Felipe Anderson.
