LIVERPOOL star Sadio Mane is in the form of his life – and opposition players may have to resort to kicking him out of the game.
That’s the shock tactic Reds legend Gary Gillespie has jokingly suggested.
Mane was on fire yesterday as Liverpool came from behind to beat Burnley 4-2 at Anfield.
The Senegal international netted twice to take his Premier League tally for the season to 16, just two behind top scorer Sergio Aguero.
Mane has impressed this season, shining in a central role in recent weeks, as well as terrifying full-backs out wide.
“I would have let someone else kick him.”

The 26-year-old has stepped up in Liverpool’s title challenge amid Mohamed Salah’s barren run in front of goal.
And Gillespie insists the only way to stop him is by taking him out.
“I would have let someone else kick him,” he told LoveSport Radio.
“He’s been fantastic this season, I think that’s his highest goal tally for Liverpool and he does look a threat.
“They are so versatile up front.
“Sadio Mane is thought of as a left or right winger but he can play anywhere along that front line.
“To be fair I think all three of them can.
“(Roberto) Firmino has had a little bit of a quieter season, certainly Salah has had a quieter season.
“But Mane, he’s come to the fore and really has probably been out of the three of them the most consistent and the best.”
Adam Lallana also shone in the win over Burnley and looks to be back to his best after a nightmare spell on the sidelines.
And Gillespie believes he could be crucial in the season run-in.
“I think a big shout out to Adam Lallana yesterday,” he added.
“That’s as near back to his best he has been since all his injuries.
“If he can play at a regular basis on that level then Liverpool have got a really good player coming back into the side.”
