LIVE FROM THE ROYAL FAMILY: William suffers heartache as Harry misses a critical Cambridge event.
Prince William is claimed to be devastated because his younger brother, Prince Harry, will miss a key Cambridge event tomorrow.
Traditionally, the brothers celebrate the holiday together, but a royal expert has stated that this will not be the case this year due to unfortunate circumstances. “They often used to meet on this sad anniversary to recall memories of her,” Richard Fitzwilliams told This website exclusively.
Despite reports that the brothers have spent prior anniversaries together reliving special memories with their late mother, Prince Harry is unlikely to be present or participate this year due to his recent relocation to the United States with his wife Meghan Markle, with whom he has two children.
Instead, Prince William will spend the anniversary of his mother’s death with his wife, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and their three children.
He wants Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to know “who she was and that she existed” when they grow up.
Mr Fitzwilliams believes that, despite their separation, the brothers will contact privately on August 31, the day of the Princess of Wales’ sad death.
“I believe they will communicate, but any communication between them will be private,” he said.
The brothers have commemorated the anniversary in important public ways in previous years, including a memorial ceremony on the 10th anniversary and the commissioning of two documentaries about Diana on the 20th anniversary.
This year, the Cambridge family will honor the momentous anniversary in secret by deciding how much information to share with their three children about “Granny Diana,” as the late Princess was dubbed by her son in the 2017 documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.
In the past, William and Kate have shared a lot of information about her with their three children – George, eight, Charlotte, six, and Louis, three.
During the documentary, he stated that he “constantly” talks to his children about her before sleep so that they are aware that “they have two grandmothers in their lives.”
“We’ve got more images up around the house now of her, and we talk about her a bit,” the future king added.
The children paid a moving homage to their “Granny Diana” by hand-writing messages to her on Mother’s Day earlier this year.
“Dear Granny Diana, I am.”Brinkwire Summary News,” Charlotte wrote.
