LIVE FROM THE ROYAL FAMILY: The Queen is dealing with a devastating double heartbreak as a result of two separate tragedies.

THE QUEEN is dealing with two heartbreaks today.

Her son Prince Andrew retired from royal duties for the “foreseeable future” two years ago today.

Following his disastrous interview with Newsnight, in which he discussed his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, he faced mounting pressure.

Meanwhile, today would have been her late husband Prince Philip’s 74th wedding anniversary.

Only seven months ago, Prince Philip died of old age.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “fired all their guns,” according to a royal expert, but the “British monarchy keeps moving forward.”

Expert @RoyalArjan wrote on Twitter about the US-based royal couple, saying that despite their “explosive” media presence, “they are still not the superstar humanitarians they aspire to be.”

Despite Meghan and Harry’s recent criticism, the Queen is still praised for her “statesmanship” and strength.

“She does have a sense of duty, she probably will keep going to the very end,” columnist and former Spiked editor Brendan O’Neill said of her decision not to retire despite health issues.

“That’s becoming increasingly rare these days, as evidenced by Prince Harry’s decision to flee to America after allegedly being treated unfairly by some members of the Royal Family.”

Following Meghan Markle’s apology to the court for allegedly making a misleading statement in her privacy case against Associated Newspapers, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced a ‘devastating’ backlash in the French media.

The cover of the latest issue of the popular French magazine Paris Match is critical of the Sussexes, with the headline “Why Meghan lied.”

“The mask slips,” according to another magazine headline.

The criticism is particularly significant, according to British journalist Peter Allen, who is based in Paris, because “the French media has been quite respectful towards them in the past,” and it will be “devastating… for Project Sussex.”

Following Meghan’s appearance on the US talk show Ellen, royal fans have urged the Queen to depose the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan appeared on the show earlier this week, prompting some fans to accuse her of “making a mockery of British royalty.”

“Now is definitely the time to strip Meghan of,” one Twitter critic wrote.
