Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson admits she’s gained a stone from ‘living her best life’ as she shares pic of ‘podgy belly’

LITTLE Mix’s Jesy Nelson has admitted that she has gained a stone since she filmed the group’s new Holiday music video as she shared a pic of her “podgy belly”.

The 29-year-old star spoke openly after new stills were released for the upcoming video – reassuring followers that everyone is “human”.

The first photo that Jesy shared saw her posing in front of a green screen in a white bikini top and fringed bottoms.

Her toned abs are on display, with her luscious, mermaid-esque hair curled and styled over one shoulder.

The singer looks sensational in the sexy snap, also flaunting an enviable tan.

The second image shows Jesy from the side and was taken on her recent trip to Brighton with new man Sean Sagar.

Jesy is blinking in the snap, with a huge smile on her face as she enjoyed time with the hunk.

Speaking openly in the post’s caption, the beauty explained that she didn’t care about her recent weight gain as she’d been “living her best life”.

She wrote: “I currently look nothing like this atm just so you all know 🤣

“I’m a stone heavier since making this video from eating whatever the f**k I’ve wanted and living my best life but for any of you struggling mentally with how you feel about yourselves right now, just know I’m there with ya with my podgy belly and chubby cheeks ☺️

“Remember we’re all human and we all have our good days and bad days and days when we feel banging and other days when we feel absolutely rotten and that’s ok 🤷🏻‍♀️

“You’re all beautiful in you’re own unique ways and there is no one in the world like you and that is what makes us special ❤️”.

Little Mix fans flocked to the comment section to thank Jesy for her words, with one writing: “You’re so inspirational, I love you.”

Another added: “You’re so beautiful inside and out♥️ Both picture are stunning!”

Jesy previously opened up about being trolled for her weight in an award-winning BBC Three documentary, Odd One Out.

In the film, the star spoke openly about battling with her image after she was thrust into the limelight alongside her Little Mix bandmates.

Jesy reflected on being branded “the fat one”, and how vile comments impacted her mental health.

The star is now happier and more body confident than ever, regularly stripping off for sultry bikini snaps.

Little Mix’s new socially distanced music video will be released at 10am tomorrow morning, with the girls sharing sneak peeks with their fans since last night.
