Life after death: Man thinks that in the afterlife, he was in the “presence of the creator.”
AFTER a near-death experience in which he claims he was in the “presence of the creator,” a man says he now knows whether or not there is a God.
It remains to be seen whether there is life after death, but one man claims he has discovered the truth. A individual named Darrell claims to have seen the afterlife after suffering cardiac arrest, according to the Near Death Experience Research Foundation.
Darrell said he was unconscious for 12 minutes before doctors were able to resuscitate him, but it seemed like an eternity to him.
Darrell claims to have encountered the Universe’s creator when he was under.
This creature, however, did not take the form of a human, but rather the color blue.
“My wife is seated beside the left side of my bed,” the man added. Between us, a magnificent blue, shimmering light appeared.
“A great and intense emotion of love was transmitted to me by the blue light.
“I instantly realized I was in the presence of the Universe’s creator and the Holy Spirit.
“At first, I assumed it was God, but then I remembered that God is a person, not a blue, shimmering light.
“The whole thing basically evaporated after a few minutes.”
Darrell awoke 17 days later in the hospital, but that one recollection stands out.
Darrell has sworn to “serve the Lord for the rest of my life” as a result of the experience.
However, scholars aren’t convinced that encounters like Darrell’s constitute proof of the afterlife or God.
Researchers from the University of Michigan produced cardiac arrest in rats and monitored their brain activity at the same time.
They were taken aback when they discovered that their brain activity spiked in the final 30 seconds of their lives.
“This work, undertaken in animals, is the first dealing with what happens to the neurophysiological condition of the dying brain,” Jimo Borjigin, PhD, assistant professor of molecular and integrative physiology and associate professor of neurology, said.
“We reasoned that if near-death experiences are caused by brain activity, then neural correlates of consciousness should be detectable in humans and animals long after cerebral blood flow has stopped.”
If the brain is more active, people may experience vivid visions, leading them to feel they have experienced the afterlife.
“The forecast that we would uncover some indicators of conscious behavior in.”Brinkwire Summary News,” Dr. Borjigin stated.
