Liam Payne collaborator J Balvin to play The Ends Pageant

BRITAIN loves a music festival.

Come rain or shine over the summer thousands of music lovers will flock to events up and down the country.

From ParkLife in Manchester, Download in Derby and Wireless in London, just about every weekend from May to September hosts some kind of festival.

And for 2019 a brand new one has sprung up in the form of The Ends Festival.

The Croydon-based bash will take place over three days in Lloyd Park from May 31 – June 2 and boasts a seriously impressive line-up.

As well as headliners Nas, WizKid and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, the likes of Burna Boy, Jaz Karis and Nipsey Hussle will take to the stage across the weekend.

Colombian singer J Balvin is also slated to jet to the UK for the festival.

The 33-year-old has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry including Pharrell Williams and Beyoncé.

Last year J Balvin dominated airwaves thanks to his collab with former One Direction star Liam Payne.

“Blue Ivy is a big, big fan, even though she and Beyoncé don’t speak Spanish”

Speaking in June, the singer bizarrely credited Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy for helping his career reach new heights.

Opening up after Bey perfromed a remix of his track Mi Gente at Coachella, J Balvin told Daily Star: “Blue Ivy is a big, big fan, even though she and Beyoncé don’t speak Spanish, they feel the energy and the good vibes.

“Blue really really loved Mi Gente so I suppose yeah, I should thank her.

Gushing over Jay Z’s missus he added: “It was a blessing. She believes in me and she really wanted to work together.

“It went global and it’s just the begging of a beautiful thing.”
