She’s known for her bold, daring and incredibly risque red carpet looks.
And on Sunday, Leila McKinnon took another risk at the 2019 Logie Awards by wearing an over-the-top frock with plunging neckline and oversized puffy sleeves.
With a super thigh-high split, reminiscent of Jessica Rabbit’s iconic frock, all eyes were on Leila – but almost for the wrong reasons.
The full-length gown, which featured a plunging neckline nearly revealed more than she bargained for.
The dress featured a very low-cut V-neck neckline that flapped open, almost flashing the beauty’s bust and narrowly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction.
Taking inspiration from the spring 2019 runway, which saw ridiculously puffy sleeves rule supreme, Leila cut a striking figure in a Constantina and Louise creation.
Leila paired her look with a more conservative pair of black strappy Alexander McQueen heels and a stylish black and gold Bally clutch.
She opted for a sun-kissed makeup palette, consisting of copper and bronze tones, with a metallic eye shadow and chestnut lip stain.
She also wore her signature blonde tresses sleek and straight with a part in the middle.
The 46-year-old also added a hint of sparkle to her daring ensemble by donning a pair of understated earrings and Chaumet ring.
While Leila’s choice may have missed the mark – sartorially speaking, it’s not the first time the newsreader has been singled out for her unusual choice of frock.
Glowing for last year’s Logies, the then 45-year-old made sure all eyes were on her in a tinsel-inspired frock,
The Logies are set to air on Sunday, June 30 on Channel 9.
