Kuchar builds 2-shot lead at Mayakoba

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico — Matt Kuchar had a 7-under 64 with a fortunate bogey to build a two-shot lead over rookie Cameron Champ on Friday in the Mayakoba Golf Classic.

Champ, going for his second victory this season, had a 62 with a bogey on his final hole. Jordan Spieth missed the cut.
