KIM Kardashian has been “incredibly patient” with Kanye West’s wild behavior.
Despite Kim’s willingness to deal with her husband’s strange actions, “their marriage still needs work.”
A source told People: “Kim and Kanye are doing well. Kanye is in a better mental state. Their marriage still needs work, but Kim is getting across to him. He is not shutting her out and wants to be with his family.”
The couple has been dealing with their very public marital problems since July when the 43-year-old rapper claimed that they almost aborted their first-born daughter, North, during a presidential campaign rally in South Carolina.
The insider added: “Kim continues to be incredibly patient and understanding about Kanye’s desire to run for president.
“She just wants to get through the next few months peacefully. She is kind of standing back while Kanye does whatever makes him happy.”
The source also shared that the pair and their four children – North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, 15 months – were all in Atlanta, Georgia “as a family” for Kanye’s Sunday service.
Kanye appeared to walk on water with his children during his latest Sunday Service event.
Kim, 39, acted as a supportive wife and filmed the choir, who were all dressed in white and sang as they stood in the shallow waters.
During the rally in South Carolina in July, Kanye emotionally broke down as he recalled the couple debating whether to go through with Kim’s first pregnancy.
He yelled to the crowd: “She had the pills in her hand. My girlfriend called me screaming, crying. I’m a rapper. And she said I’m pregnant. She was crying.”
The rapper – who said he was working on his laptop in Paris at the time of the conversation – continued: “My screen went black and white.
“And God said, ‘if you f*** with my vision, I’m going to f*** with yours.’ And I called my girlfriend and said we’re going to have this child.”
The drama continued when Kanye claimed on Twitter that he had been trying to divorce Kim for two years and accused the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star of having an affair with Meek Mill.
Kanye also targeted his mother-in-law Kris Jenner, 64.
He accused Kris of “white supremacy” and shared private text messages that he were believed to be between the two, with one that read: “This Ye, you ready to talk now or re still avoiding my call?”
The rapper captioned the screenshot: “White supremacy at its highest no cap.”
The couple is said to be working on their marriage as Kanye continues to struggle with his mental illness.
Back in August, the couple flew to the Dominican Republic with their children.
A source told People at the time that the purpose of the trip was to “focus” on their marriage.
