Kate dazzles in stunning photos released for her 40th birthday.

To commemorate her 40th birthday, KATE, Duchess of Cambridge, has released three stunning new photos.

In the photos, the future Queen Consort is seen wearing a variety of Alexander McQueen gowns and her hair is loose around her shoulders.

Paolo Roversi, a fashion photographer, shot them in November at Kew Gardens.

Mr Roversi described photographing Kate as “pure joy” and said she can “bring hope to the whole world” with her “positive energy.”

“Taking Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge’s portrait was a true honor and a moment of pure joy for me,” he said.

“I was moved by her warm and friendly welcome, and enchanted by her gleaming eyes, which reflected her soul’s loveliness, and her smile, which revealed her heart’s generosity.”

“For me, it was a profound and rich experience, a once-in-a-lifetime moment.”

“I met a wonderful person, a person who can bring hope to the entire world with her positive energy.”

Kate was photographed in three different relaxed poses.

The images will be added to the National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection, of which The Duchess is a Patron.

Kate is seen in one of the photos wearing a red McQueen dress with earrings from the Queen’s private collection.

Her hands are nestled in the gown’s pockets as she smiles at the camera.

The photographer, who has worked with celebrities such as Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, is known for using unconventional film and printing techniques.

As a result, the two other images released to commemorate the occasion were shot in monochrome, giving them an ethereal quality.

One of them shows the Duchess smiling at the camera, her hair swept over her shoulder.

Kate has a blank expression on one hand and is looking to the left on the other.

On display is her engagement ring, which belonged to Diana, Princess of Wales.

A 12 carat Ceylon sapphire from Sri Lanka is featured in the ring.

Diana’s earrings are also on the Duchess’s earlobes.

On Sunday, January 9, Kate is expected to celebrate her birthday with a private family gathering at the Cambridges’ Norfolk home.

In June, her husband, Prince William, will turn 40 years old.

Senior members of the Royal Family usually release photos to commemorate important dates.

Kate’s birthday was not commemorated with a new photograph last year because it occurred during a Covid-imposed lockdown.

Rather, a photograph of Kate during a royal engagement was released alongside a solemn message.
