A ROYAL fan has hit out at Twitter users who make accounts solely to criticise Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The Sussexes and the Cambridges both have strong online followings. But one royal fan with the handle @angelaroyalist took to Twitter to complain about users who create accounts to use to attack Harry and Meghan.

The royal fan insisted Prince William and Kate would not approve of the behaviour.

The royal fan also said it is “not an excuse” if fans of the Sussexes are doing the same thing to the Cambridges.

The royal fan tweeted: “I get that some might not like Harry and Meghan but if you create an account with the sole purpose of mocking them you are a bully.

“You can’t criticise the ‘squad’ for insulting the Cambs because you are doing the exact same thing

“Neither H&M nor W&C would condone this behaviour don’t care if the squad is doing the same thing, this is not an excuse.

“I’m tired of some Cambridge fans constantly insulting Harry and Meghan and calling them names.

“You can disagree with some things and express an opinion without being offensive.”

Harry and Meghan quit royal duties in March 2020.

The couple are now living in the US with their two children Archie and Lili.

The Sussexes no longer have their own social media accounts.

They stopped using their Sussex Royal Instagram, which still has 10 million followers when they ended royal duties.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have 13 million followers on their official Instagram account.

They also have 2.2 million followers on their Kensington Royal Twitter page.

The Royal Family has 4.6 million followers on its official Twitter, which is used for the Queen and other royals without their own handles.

The Royal Family’s Instagram account has 10.3 million followers.

Other members of the Royal Family with their own social media include Princess Eugenie.

Eugenie has 1.5 million followers on her Instagram account.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice has 130,000 followers on her Twitter page.
