Kanye West demands board seat at Gap and Adidas after Kris Jenner ‘cancels KUWTK over son-in-law’s wild behavior’

KANYE West has demanded a seat on the boards of Gap and Adidas as it has been revealed Keeping Up With The Kardashians will end in 2021.

In a surprise tweet, sent on Thursday, Kanye insisted that “black board seats matter” as he reminded CEOs that he does not have a seat at Gap and Adidas, two companies with whom he has long-running collaborations.

“I DONT HAVE A BOARD SEAT AT GAP I DONT HAVE A BOARD SEAT AT ADIDAS … BLACK BOARD SEATS MATTER,” he shared.

Gap and Ye struck a 10-year deal for Kanye’s Yeezy apparel line, with the store planning to introduce the brand in store from 2021.

Kanye also has a streetwear and sneaker brand at Adidas, which in 2019 was valued at up to $3 billion.

His tweet is the not the first time he asked for a board seat at the companies, and in July he threatened to “walk away” from both companies if his demands were not met.

Durng a rambling campaign rally, he said: “In risk or no risk of losing whatever deal possible, I am not on the board at Adidas.

“I am not on the board at Gap. And that has to change today, or I walk away.”

The 43-year-old is married to Kim Kardashian, and often appeared on the E! series.

Kim was adamant his recent mental health issues would not be filmed for the show.

An insider close to the family told The Sun however that Kris Jenner “pulled the plug” on Keeping Up With The Kardashians over fears that Kanye was causing “irreversible damage” to their brand.

Family sources close to the momager said she had “had enough” of her daughter unpredictable husband, claiming the rapper had “tried to constantly fight with Kris over production and the direction that the show is going.”

But headstrong Kris “was not about to let anybody take the reins.”

In recent months, Kanye battled a public mental health breakdown and shocked fans by sharing intimate details of his marriage and family life.

The source admitted that his behavior had become “uncontrollable,” and Kris knew she “needed to pull the plug before he does irreversible damage to her brand.”
