Jorge Lorenzo update from MotoGP legend that his fans will LOVE

JORGE LORENZO has recovered from his injuries and should be a serious force at Le Mans.

That’s according to motorsport legend Alex Criville, who insists the beleaguered star will get his career back on track this weekend.

Lorenzo has had a turgid few months and is yet to get into his stride.

The Spaniard, who was ditched by Ducati last year, is finding the switch to Honda tough.

He was expected to perform well at Jerez but crossed the line a lowly 12th.

“MotoGP hero Jorge Lorenzo is looking to bounce back at Le Mans”

Criville is adamant that Le Mans could be a turning point though.

“Jorge Lorenzo is costing him a bit his adaptation to the Honda RC213V and the results do not accompany him,” he told Marca.

“Le Mans is a good circuit for him. He has good memories and has won five times.

“Le Mans should be a path to be among the best and hopefully so because physically is already recovered from his injuries.”

Despite his woes, Lorenzo is feeling positive ahead of the clash.

“After a tough weekend I am pleased to be able to get back on the Honda without too much time between races,” he said.

“In the past, I have gone well in France but we will need to see how this weekend goes.

“The test we had on Monday after Jerez was productive and importantly I was able to get more time on the bike which should help us to understand and improve.”
